Guest guest
Pranams Manvantara Nice to hear your news about the situation on that part of the world. I have to say that i love the essence of every religion and like you i don't hold any grudges against Christians or any other religion. Although i do not like the corruption brought up by politicians i try to see things from a higher plane. A high temperature in a person means an illness and eventually when the temperature finishes it means the end of the troubles. In politics there is something similar, a high temperature means corruption or mismanagement and once things are corrected, health comes back. We are now in the middle of 3 eclipses and the focus of energies from the grahas is happening on Gemini. America is ruled by Gemini in the traditional rule and all these planets are causing a big change in politics. Because those changes are happening behind closed doors, we can not see yet the changes likelytto appear towards the end of the year. We have Saturn and jupiter in Taurus, making a papakartari yoga to Gemini by having Rahu and Venus in Cancer, and we have the Sun, Mercury and Mars in Gemini. Then, we have the Moon in Sagittarius for a couple of days. These 8 planets are giving some kind of vaccination to restore the health of the country and it is going to take time before we see the results. Regarding the Bhaktivedanta Manor here in England, it was a complicated case. Basically only 5 people in a village of about 300 people (the 150 devotees living in the Manor, not included), were objecting against the Temple being too close to them. A good example of "democracy". One of them was the owner of the local pub, claiming that he was losing sales of spirits due to the heavy traffic of visitors to the Manor and the other was a very influential lady. The case went on for many years, devotees and Hindus went as far as the Parlament to talk to politicians about the case and had the opportunity to preach to them about the Vedas. The case costed hundreds of thousands of pounds and it took ages to come to an end but in the end The Bhaktivedanta Manor was saved from closure. One of the problems being that politicians do not know the basics of religion, they are supposed to get advise from brahmans (priests) of open mind and if they got the advise from their Church of England about this matter, then, they didn't seem to have got a good direction. It was a political fight and i am happy that the ISKCON temple was saved. I will give the credit of this victory to the help of the Hindu community in England, without them devotees didn't have a chance. And of course, from a higher view, the Lord protected His temple.
