Guest guest Posted July 24, 2000 Report Share Posted July 24, 2000 A real world disease or any real world life reality will never be found to be consistantly caused by one simple thing in Jyotish. I wish it were that simple, kindof, but then again, I don't. The world would be really different and weird if like, say, everyone born in a certain year all had the same disease, or if everyone born while Saturn was in a certain sign, for 2.5 years, all had to same stuff real obviously. In researching AIDS once, I found out how complex these kinds of things can be. Plus, good common Jyotish sense tells us singular placements can never be the reliable co-significator (cause) of a real world disease. There is probably a number of ways these things can be signified in a chart. Since Sagittarius is the lord of the 8th house, I am sure the starlord or sublord of the 8th house must be venus. With mercury sitting there it will only complicate things with nervousness and high blood pressure being in a sagittarius sign. Why don't you print out a sample chart of these people using KP system in Das Gorvani's software and see the starlord or the sublord of the 8th house is either venus or connected with venus. Is this person's venus in mercury star? Also see in their charts if the lord of the 8th house is venus for example taurus or libra. The entire digestion of sugars (ruled by Jupiter) is controlled by the Virgo-Pisces Axis and L R Chawdhri suggests Emerald and Pokhraj for their cure. I too agrre with him and suggest these for diabetic patients. This is in line with your Merc-sarittarius connection (Merc-Jup). I was completely bowled for sometime trying to think about the Venus -Sugar/Sweet connection. Then when those sub abd sub-sub's come in, I go out. I am a bit in favour of traditional stuff in Jyotish. The cell is not receiving any glucose (enenrgy) although it is sitting in a pool of syrup (sugar sugar everywhere, not a drop to drink!). The two major outcomes of the disease are (a) lack of energy and (b) adverse secondary effects due to excessive sugar. These should be considered in addition to the venus-effect. Also important to remember that diabetes is not ONE disease but has different subtypes with very different causes, very different clinical profiles and very different outcomes.
