Guest guest
All, I was wondering; does anyone out there have any data on people that are really good with Palmistry? Also, can anyone give some combinations that incline one towards a study of Palmistry? Thanks, Mu Mail - Free email you can access from anywhere! /
Guest guest
Dear Mu, I had my palm read by Hart DeFouw in conjunction with a natal chart reading in Albuquerque about a year and a half ago. It was interesting--he seemed to get some interesting detail on my past correctly. He used a string to measure the lines in my palm. I'm only hoping he was anywhere close to the truth about my future! I believe he teaches palmistry from time to time at the Ayurvedic Institute in Albuquerque. Also, there is a palmistry group in Canada, who I have not used (they were at the ACVA conference this past February in Sedona). I understand they're very good. They will send you a kit that you copy your print with and send to them--they then provide you with a taped reading. Here's their link: http://www.palmistry.com/ Good luck. Guest guest
Namaste Colleen, Yes, I am quite familiar with the Canadian group, I saw their site a little while back - I was most disappointed with it, as I am with most sites that are devoted (?) to the Occult Sciences, like Jyotish, Palmistry, etc.; my reason for saying that is, that all of these sites ooooze fees, and so on, and they don't give you ANY info worth the mention on the Art in question. That tells me a lot about where they're coming from - me, I want DATA, information straight-up, sans the BS, you know what I mean? All that "Secret" stuff is for the birds - I mean, for real, we're in the Information Age, for crying out loud - what could you really keep "secret" these days, even if you wanted to? So, no, I can't go for that site, although I know that you meant well in mentioning it. There's gotta be someplace out there on the Net that'll give up the Tapes......... What you said about deFouw was very interesting, but it doesn;t answer my Q about what particular combinatipons, astrologically, makes pne go into Hasta Rekka Shastra? I know that deFouw is one of those guys that is funny about giving up his horoscope data - I mean, c'mon, get with it, already. It's a drag......... Thanks for the info, anyway. No More Secrets No More Mysteries Only The Real-Deal Truth Will Do... Peace, Mu The Truthseeker;) --- Colleen Patterson <cosmiceye wrote: > Dear Mu, > > I had my palm read by Hart DeFouw in conjunction > with a natal chart reading > in Albuquerque about a year and a half ago. Guest guest
In principle, I agree with you about priceless information being available without having to pay a price. However, many of these sites are really erected with promotion of their services in mind. In today's age where everything needs to be paid for, even the search engines are free no more and want money for listing a site, one can't really blame these folks for advertising. By itself, it does not render their product effective or bogus, though. Quite candidly, just as many of us feel that we are being fleeced when we have to pay for any information, the providers similarly feel negatively about those who want everything for free as if it was their birthright for just being on the net and being able to search. Well .. this battle between counter-philosophies would simply continue. Until ... information (I am talking astrological info specifically) becomes regulated to some extent with permits and licences etc. so that people who like to know about the quality of information they are paying for can shop without that sinking feeling that the next deal could result in money going down the cyber-drain :-) But regulation of astrology is not an easy thing either. There are so many certifications and accreditations already available, but who has accredited the accreditors many of whom are at the helm of regulating others just because they were 'there' in the early days. Probably western astrologers are more organized in this area with the AFA certification etc. >Mu'Min Bey <mumin_bey >gjlist >gjlist >Re: [gjlist] Combinations of Palmistry >Wed, 6 Sep 2000 13:06:10 -0700 (PDT) > >Namaste Colleen, > >Yes, I am quite familiar with the Canadian group, I >saw their site a little while back - I was most >disappointed with it, as I am with most sites that are >devoted (?) to the Occult Sciences, like Jyotish, >Palmistry, etc.; my reason for saying that is, that >all of these sites ooooze fees, and so on, and they >don't give you ANY info worth the mention on the Art >in question.
