Guest guest
Dear Rhoda Thinking back it was a long silence indeed from my part but nothing to worry. I have been travelling a lot and i had not time to post any news or comments. Although i have been reading most of the postings and wanting to comment on the most interesting of them, i did not have the time or it was too late by the time i was ready to answer cause the subject matters change too fast. The astro lists are very stimulant to the brain but with Rahu in Gemini crossing over my Mercury, i just lost myself in travelling and i am sure lots of members of this list are also very busy. Also, as you can see i changed my address from aol to ntl cause it is more economic and in the process something funny happened, i could not get back to this list for about 2 weeks. First i thought that Das closed the doors to me....(just kidding, he was very helpful when i told him my problem) or that UFOs were conspiring against me, but in the end i got the instructions from Das to again. It is very interesting what you say in your email. BTW how is your friend's dad doing after the op? I am checking my breathing and the omens say that he is going to be ok. I know a friend of mine that he was into checking omens and one day he organised a Surya Yagya ( a fire ceremony to please Surya, the demigod in charge of the Sun). He (my friend, not Surya, although Surya is also my friend (i hope), rang to another astrologer and pujari friend of us living in Switzerland inviting him to come to help with the yagya in Amsterdam (that was a long time ago, almost in a previous life), and our friend said that he really appreciated the invitation and wanted to come but unfortunately he was going on his way to India in a few days time. My friend checked his breathing and said "no, you are not going to India this year" and our friend said "i am going, i have everything ready to go". Few days later, our friend in Switzerland rang saying that he had to cancel the journey to India cause his wife was pregnant and therefore he was coming to the yagya. We had a beautiful Surya Yagya. So good for omens and the breathing techniques. I got the chart for 5.30 am 20 Oct 2000 when you was in hospital "as i was gazing out of the window", Virgo rising under papakartari and the Moon close to Rahu in 10, indicating mental anxieties and physical pressure but Mercury, lagna lord is not combust in the 2nd house, indicating things under control in about 10 days time when the moon will be in conjunction with Mercury. <<the hospy is very close to the birla mandir, sri venkateshwara.>> Nice to have Sri Venkateshwara close by. Here, we have Him at the Hindu temple at Newcastle and it is very nice to go for darshan. I am glad that you find my posting helpful. For some reason my Saturn dasa is giving me the opportunity to taste a wandering life (i was born under a wandering star) just like Brahmans in vedic times, and sometimes i do upto 20 readings in a day. Going to people's homes and read their charts gives me the practical opportunity to see vedic astrology in action, and because i do not charge, i only accept donations, it is a very rewarding experience. So, in my journeys i find very interesting readings and Pisceans in particular are asking "when sade sati is going to finish?". I tell them that they are now in the recovery time, just like when coming out of hospital after a long operation, they need about 9 months to recover, and with Saturn retro at present, they do give one step forward and one step backwards. I also tell them that about 2 in 100 people denies that they have been affected by sade sati and that i know that one of those 2, either do not want to remember or are lying. Sade sati is a very purifying experience, it cleans us from many karmas. This weekend i went to Edinburgh, Scotland. About 6 miles south of Edinburgh there is a beautiful and enigmatic place of pilgrimage since the Crusades times. Rosslyn Chapel was built in 1446 by Sir William St Clair, a knight Templar himself. This place has more questions than answers. One of those questions is that although officially, Freemasons are suppose to have started in this country in 1717 or 1777 ( i do not remember), Rosslyn Chapel has a lot of Freemasons symbols from the very beginning of its constructions. Another question is that although Columbus brought back corn on the cob from America in 1492, Rosslyn Chapel has corn on the cob sculpted on one of the original windows. And according to a book, one of the Sinclair's, Prince Henry of Orkney, landed in what is now Massachusetts in 1399. (Do you remember the Bee Gees' song Massachusetts?). Many passages of the New Testament are represented in Rosslyn Chapel as well as Celtic, Scandinavian and Freemason's lore. From the times of the Crusades, pilgrims used to visit 7 important places in Europe to get 7 initiations and to open the 7 chakras. Starting with Santiago de Compostela (the first chakra) passing Notre Dame de Paris and ending in Rosslyn Chapel, representing the highest chakra. All of those 7 places are represented by planets. So, about 200 hundred years ago, a bunch of people decided to impose in the West a systematic cultural trend to erase from our memories and history some interesting, positive and useful knowledge. They imposed on us the theory of Darwin, which says that evolution is the answer. While in Edinburgh, i went to a bird sanctuary on the beach and i asked one of the ladies working there, why they display in that sanctuary that present birds are descendants of prehistoric peridoglatics? ( i do not remember their funny names but apparently they used to be around millions of years ago, were somekind of birds, were very vicious and are now extinct). The lady told me that scientists found the evidence of how birds have evolved, because of the fossils found give evidence of a transformation in sequence. I told her that to me that is not evidence of evolution, because if that is the case i could say that old Jaguar cars are the ancestors of the present Skodas. So, why present politicians allow the expenditure of millions of dollars, to build monuments glorifying theories that are not based in scientific evidence? Too much brainwashing going on in the name of culture. Well, thank you for your welcome and warm greetings and i will try to post more often if i have time. I have lots of notes taken from here and there, books and documentals giving interesting thoughts. Hare Krishna Natabara Das
