I have wanted to post this story about our state election last year here in

Melbourne Australia for quite a while as an example of the strength and accuracy

of Vedic astrology and how no matter what you think will happen the planets have

the final say.

 

We had a very conservative leader in Jeff Kennett who by selling off public

assets and introducing a poll tax, got the economy going after many years of

waste under a left leaning Labour Government. However, Jeff got too arrogant in

the end and became some what of a dictator, there seemed to be too many

contracts and deals with rich mates going on.

 

He was born on March the 3rd 1948 in Melbourne and although I don't know his

lagna I think it is Aquarius with Sun the lagna, he has a real boof head

everybody gives him hell about and then the Moon would be in the 10th house and

Jupiter in the 11th. He certainly enjoyed mass support until the rot set in. The

Sun in the lagna also can make a person very arrogant and unwilling to entertain

other peoples advice or opinions. Jeff had all these qualities in abundance.

 

The Labour party struggled to gain any ground as they were still trying to live

down the disaster they had left the state in previously. That was until a man

named Steve Bracks came along to replace the man who was struggling to get any

support, he was born on 15th October 1954. His chart has exalted Moon, Jupiter,

Mars and Saturn. I suspect his lagna is Taurus but I didn't really look too

deeply into their personal charts as we were concerned with mainly the election.

My old Pundit quite often tells me to disregard the lagna if the time is unknown

and just look at the planets or read the planets from the Moon sign. After doing

this the lagna often becomes obvious.

 

Jeff Kennet had so much of a lead and public support it was just not funny. He

had a majority so big it was said to be unassailable even if God ran against

him. The polls all had him winning the election easily.

 

That was until he called the election for 18th September 1999, Ashtami day,

where the Moon (mind of the masses) is square to the Sun (ruler). The old Pundit

rang me and declared that Kennet was finished as he had called the election for

ashtami day and no auspicious event should take place on that day. Now this was

a big call to make on the basis of one aspect on that day. However, transit Mars

was also transiting Jeffs natal Moon in very hard aspect to natal Sun,

regardless of the houses involved these are not good aspects. He was running the

dasha of Moon/Mercury and Mercury was in 10th house aspect to neecha Saturn.

This all supports a lagna of Aquarius as Mars and Saturn were both aspecting

Gemini the 5th house of political position for Aquarius and bhukti lord Mercury

was in the 12th house of loss in his natal chart in retrgrade motion..

 

Steve Bracks was running the periods of Jupiter / Mars who are both exalted in

kendra aspect to each other in his chart. I wrote to Kennett telling him he was

doomed as Bracks was a run away train and he had called the election on Ashtami

day. I was still a bit skeptical deep inside because of the perceived huge lead

Jeff suppossedly had. The old Pundit never wavered and claimed Bracks was going

to win regardless of the polls showing Kennett a clear winner.

 

On election day there was the biggest swing ever against a sitting government

which brought the Labour Government equal in support with the ruling Liberal

Government. What was the mind blowing thing was that the Liberals potential

winning seat was held by a man who died on the election day of a heart attack.

This was ashtami day at work as the ballot for that area had to be held again

and the momentum had wildly swung to Bracks who claimed the people wanted him

and were sick of dictator Jeff. He later won the dead mans seat and is now

enjoying 70 % popularity in the polls. He has amazing charisma and is very good

looking. He is very careful and cautious making me think he was born in Taurus.

Many people myself included were numb with shock as to what had happenned. From

that day on I vowed not to second guess the planets.

 

I see very similar things panning out in the U.S election with a good looking

Gore up against a crusty but likable rogue Bush. It looks like there has been

some monkey business in Florida and if the vote must be taken again here I

wonder if the swing will go back to Gore.

 

I remember reading about when Kennedy was elected (I wasn't born) and there was

talk about certain Mafia bosses hustling up support for Kennedy and how Nixon

went to the grave saying he was scammed by the Kennedys. Kennedy was of course

shot so it is very interesting to look at the repercussions of all this. Maybe

I'm a bit cynical of politicians but it all seems a little bit convenient with

Bush having his brother in power in Florida and all these strange happennings

only in that state.
