Guest guest
greetings to you all, my yogananda data in das' program had the correct time zone....)) i would like to put out (awesome?) observation for comments on the list. yogananda died on march 7, 1952 at the biltmore hotel in los angeles, appr. in the late afternoon, early evening. he predicted and anticipated his "big day" - according to close disciples. assuming the time of 19 30 as time of death (despite the account of witnesses, i could not confirm accurate hour so far) - his natal jupiter, pisces 23 51 and saturn virgo 20 13 - are nearly in the same position on his day of death. jupiter in pisces 24 33, saturn in virgo 20 14. would or could anybody share interpretations and thoughts? om shanti, sabine

He announced it! As far as I know he had doctors etc. to observe the process of going into samadhi. so it looks as if he had chosen that day and hour to depart. Perhaps owing to the said transit, which he might have felt was suitable. This simultaneous transit of Jupiter and Saturn over their natal positions is very common during the 60th year of life for all, within orbs of about 5 degrees, or about 2 deg. in the mean position. In yogananda´s case Saturn was exact, jupiter 1 degree off. In my own case when saturn was exact, jupiter was 5 deg off, but when jupiter was exact, saturn was only 2 deg. away. Yogananda´s planets and mine are in close aspects: his saturn, mars and MC are conjunct my jupiter, mercury and Ascendant respectively. His Jupiter, moon, and sun are opposite to my jupiter, saturn and moon respy. the last a bit off (5 deg, but for a moon/sun aspect strong). I admire him. But I was denied samadhi during that "awesome" transit!!! It was, however, a period of severe trial and departure would have been very welcome. Anyway, the Leo ascendant is certainly more suitable. regards Mani > assuming the time of 19 30 as time of death (despite the account of > witnesses, i could not confirm accurate hour so far) - his natal > jupiter, pisces 23 51 and saturn virgo 20 13 - are nearly in the same > > position on his day of death. > > jupiter in pisces 24 33, saturn in virgo 20 14. > > would or could anybody share interpretations and thoughts? > > om shanti, > sabine > > > > gjlist- > > >

I now...more or less, accept the fact that my body IS aging. However, I have also noticed an increase in the number of experiences pointing out to me a greater wisdom that I have...based on my experiences in life, over those 20-40 years my junior. Guest guest
Dear List Members, Regarding the Jupiter/Saturn Return: Since it is Jupiter and Saturn that most signifacantly reveals one's "path" in life thier simultaneous return at app. 60 years of age is important. According to KN rao the Saturn/Jupiter return is the point that the native will either retire from life, and generally begin to deteriorate, his path becoming less signifacant, or become greater then he ever had be, my observations with my clients verify this. So with Yogananda, this was his point of retirement, being a great guru, he could of course not retire and settle down into senility!
