Guest guest
Om Amrtesvaryai Namaha!!! Namaste to all you dear ones on the list!!!!! thank you dear picky Mani, and thank you dear iconoclastic Dasji!!!! your last letters from today, re God and Gurus were simply wonderful!!!thank you so much for sharing that!!! you know, even tho i do feel Gurus are necessary for most people, i can definitely relate to Dasji and Mani about their views....i too, don't feel that intense need to spend all my waking moments hanging about Amma's skirts...trying to catch Her eye, and feeling holier than thou....i haven't noticed what Dasji said relative to the Brahmacaris, but i have noticed it with the ordinary devotees...and if the brahmacaris do it too..it's not that surprising...they'd like Amma all to themselves!!!that however is NO reflection upon Amma Herself but rather upon the devotees....(when i have tried to indicate to my brothers that they might also be "related" to Amma, i hope that i didn't offend anyone...was just reporting what i saw from the charts...when i said that i thought that She is your Guru too, it is coming merely from my chart interpretations and the transits and so on....i dont' mean to offend with it..but to point out what i have seen...As Amma often says...Just keep what you need and throw away the rest!!!) it is true that Mother's back and neck and arms have been bothering Her for some time...as one of the Swamijis has said, Mother is crucifying Herself daily for us....not just once but EVERY day!! This problem got a lot worse about 3 years ago, when Sani entered into Aries...and started Mother's Sade Sati...which She is still undergoing...The Mahatma will not avoid those body problems, because if She does, then we won't have as much faith...She is showing us how to deal with our own pains...with our own limitations, with our own mortality...and it IS tough to do thus.... If we see that Amma has lots of body troubles, due to the joints being worn, and yet She still goes on with Her mission, hugging thousands of people a day....what will be OUR excuse when we are not feeling so good?... Sri Ramakrsna was asked to cure himself from the throat cancer that he had...but He wouldn't even try...He said it was all the Mother's Grace.... if we were giving darshan by hugging thousands of people almost everyday for 25 years or so, we too, might develop some sort of "work-related" injury...and would need a back brace too...and we'd likely STOP giving such painful Darshans... Mother on the other hand continues DESPITE Her troublesome body....a very fine example for us children.... Even the Divine,(according to our tradition) when in a human body must go thru all the body troubles, and sickness, and eventually just like you and i, such a being must leave the body too....it doesn't mean that there is not someone VERY special within that body...but that the body, being made of clay, will return to clay eventually..... i can totally understand, tho, Dasji, that you have had enough with Gurus and movements...as you already went thru all that stuff....but it's unfortunate that it seems to have closed you off slightly, in a way, to new developments...we can't expect the devotees to mature overnight, and many may never mature to the point where you might notice it...it's not really a reflection on the teacher, although we tend to see it that way....Mother has millions of devotees....some will be mature and others will still be in diapers...some will need only ONE glance and everything will be clear...others will need several more births before they even understand at all what She is saying.... it is so good to see such lively and loving discussion with my brothers and sisters!!!! thank you all very much for all your caring thoughts and comments!!! In the Divine Mother's Love and in Her Service, as ever, your own self, visvanathan OM Amrtesvaryai Namah!!!
