It does no good for deviating from the classical astrology. Though Shadbala which computes aspectoral strength numerically does say that each planet shall aspect other planet which is beyond 30 degrees from it and which is upto 300 degrees from it thus meaning that no planet casts any aspect 30 degress ahead and 60 degrees behind. But then, this does not allow 5th and 9th aspects to Mars and Saturn.
