The Bhukti actually changed according to JJ from Jupiter-Mercury to

Jupiter-Ketu on 27-June-1975 - with a bit of refining, I would say

the "elopement marriage" was due to the Dasa (Strong 3rd Lord of

Initiatives, Jupiter placed in 3rd House) in the Bhukti of Ketu in

the 1st House with Rahu in the 7th, which could suggest Marriage to

somebody "Foreign" or "different" to the Native in some way.

 

However, I cannot clearly see Marriage from the Ketu Bhukti, so

looking at the Transits -

 

Transit Jupiter was in the 6th House, throwing an EXACT Trinal 5th-

aspect on the Natal 7th Lord of Marriage (Mars) in the 10th House,

which is weak Natally (Jupter is much stronger as 3rd Lord of

initiatives). Natal Mars is Debilitated and has a weak Dispositor

(Moon).

 

At the same time, Transit Jupiter threw the same 5th-aspect on the

Natal 5th Lord of Romance (Saturn), who is also weak in the 10th House

due to a weak Dispositor.

 

Transit Mars, the Natal 7th Lord was closely conjunct Transit Jupiter.

 

Transit Saturn was in the 9th House throwing an exact 10th-aspect on

both Transit Mars and Transit Jupiter.

March 1973 saw the onset of the Bhukti of Debilitated MMP (Mercury).

Mercury's weakness causes Nervous tension, especially on the 6th MEP

of illnesses.
