Guest guest
Rob/All, Thanks, Rob, for that very good explanation, I learned a lot from it. Yes, my teacher, Sharmaji up in NYC, said to me, that I would attain the highest success in my Jupiter Dasa, in my 40's. He said that was when I would really be writing books and lecturing and teaching and the rest of it, travelling and so forth. So yes, you are correct. AS for your comments re the Moon and Rahu in my Navamsa, I am a bit confused; my computer programs, noth GJ and Visual Jyotish, put the Moon in Libra in the 1st in Navamsa, and Rahu in Scorpio in the 2nd with Mercury, which definitely accounts for both my thing for AStrology and my thing for learning deffering languages. If Dasji sees this perhaps he can shed some light on this techinal software question? I have seen other programs do this also, and I beleive them to be incorrect. I have cast me Navamsa by hand, following the directions in Light on Life; Rahu is in the 2nd, and the Moon is in the 1st. Please advise...and how would the Rahu aspect with Mercury read, Rob? Thanks again for the info on my 4th house and matters of Race...I always did feel like on outcast in this Society, and even among my own people to an extent, because of my being into things that they were not; so you were very correct there. James Braha, in his Ancient Hindu AStrology for the Modern Western AStrologer, says that a strong 5th house brings with it a sense of knowing the one is meant for greatness; well, what you said made me think about that, because I always felt on the inside that I was not meant for the ordinary life that most people here in the US think of. Anyway, thanks again for the insight, and I wait for your, or anyone else's, response. Salaam, Mu ===== Mu'Min M. I think it may be because you're using the true nodes, while Robert, the other programs and I use the mean nodes. So the other's aren't actually incorrect. While I have no major problem with the true nodes, the classics say that they always have retrograde motion. This, of course, is only true with the mean nodes. Other than that, it's anyone's choice. Great hearing from you, Pursottam
