Guest guest
Dear Members, A word if I may on the current transit of JU/SA. One can't help but notice in the lives of those near and dear, as well as in the political/worldly arena, that there is a distinct lack of harmony/happiness/contentment, etc... Jupiter is the planet of happiness/benevolence/kindness/justice, and so forth, whereas Saturn is the planet of grief/unhappiness/suffering, etc... In Taurus, Saturn is the stronger of the two. This is not a good indication for peace and happiness in the world...especially so with Mars (war-monger) adding his influence from Libra. Mars will gain even more strength when he moves into Scorpio next month. This (in general) is not a favourable time for humanity, and certainly those running Saadi Sati or Ashtama Sani will be enduring a lot in their personal lives. All around us we see conflict and if ever there was a time for Priests to engage in "yagyas" (for the benefit of the world) this is it. Dear Wendy, Generally agree with you, but just want to say that there is another sort of experience. My three children and I have taurus lagna, my ex-wife gemini. I personally am undergoing the triple transit of saturn over lagna point and just escape the triple of jupiter, who stops retrograding a degree or so ahead of that point. We are all experiencing these transits - esp the retro motion - as periods of discontentment and depleted health. BUT it is during this period that after years of negative and uncertain relationships amongst us a great feeling of cordiality has arisen. All three children got Xmas/birthdy presents from my wife and me as combined gifts - after 18 years - and also after 18 years I was able to celebrate my daughter´s birthday with her and that together with my ex-wife!...... If we preserved the silver linings of the clouds in our lives we would all be rich! regards Mani
Guest guest
Dear Mani, This is not surprising as (for you) SA is yogakaraka (9/10 lord). Saturn, therefore, is a functional benefic...for BOTH Taurus and Libra Ascendants! Regards Wendy

Guest guest
Dear Members, In referring (in previous post) to the conflict inflicted by Mars on the two major planets (JU/SA) it was assumed that most astrologers are aware THAT includes ALL conflicts...including conflicts within nature herself...hence, natural disasters, accidents, etc...this is the nature of Mars. In Australia alone we've had several (small) plane crashes within a few days. Mars, as I said, is indeed the war- monger, but let's not forget the war within nature herself and Mars great potential for accidents of all kinds. The shocking EQ in India which so far (I believe) has resulted in the loss of 100,000 lives can be attributed (in part) to this transit of MA/JU/SA which I earlier spoke of. If I have India's chart correct (not sure, got it from another site), at the time of EQ the dasa period for India was VE-JU-KE. We already know the affliction of Bhukti lord JU from 7/12 lord MA, and, further to this, vidasa lord KE is transiting 8th house. I don't need to stress the significations of 8th house, nor the potential of KE for accidental incidents. (the catalyst due, I suspect, to conjunctions of SU/MO etc...don't have chart up to check on that, but think I read some mention of this in another post). My thoughts are with India at this time as they are with all those suffering the loss of loved ones through plane crashes etc. There is no doubt that with this current transit (MA/JU/SA), for many, many souls Suffering is stronger due to Saturn's strength in Taurus, whilst happiness, prosperity, etc is on the decline due to Jupiter's discomfort in this sign (brought about by the violence of Mars no doubt).
