Guest guest
Bonnie Could you please give us a talk on the Year of the Dragon. I have read about Chinese astrology & i know that i am an Ox & other things but it will be nice to study the omen. The dragon fell, the end of the year of the dragon. What is next? And could you give us the meaning of both animals? Is the dragon linked to the constellation of Draco? Natabara
Guest guest
Dear Das, I think I felt the same today- today was my birthday, and from early morning full of good "omens". Beside my family's phone alls, lots of people dropped by, that I didn't expect to even remember my birthday- with wonderful flower, creative presents, and- lots of love! (It's not the right time, right now, but your story makes me write about omens- I've been used to trusting them. Not to bother you, I'll give you just one example: it was a nice summer day, Saturday, we arranged a family dinner at our summer house...Before I went there, I went to a book store, to read for while and listen to my favourite music- I picked up just one book: "Raven" from Edgar Allan Poe, and I was reading it like obsessed, and couldn't leave the book- I purchased it. (Not uncommon for me, though). I was late pretty for a dinner, but everybody was in good spirit, making jokes about my spending time in the bookstore.. Only my brother, who was busy finishing heating-installation in his new house, wasn't there- he was supposed to come later in the evening... We were laughing, I think like never before..All of a sudden, out of nowhere the raven appeared on the house- silence was exchanged by noisy efforts to make it go- the raven didn't look upset- until my youngest uncle went to the roof... I felt cold around my heart... We didn't have the telephone there, at that time, but I was feeling so bad, I just waited for a desert and coffee, to leave. I didn't say anything, but when I said goodbye, my mother also said she would like to go.. We BOTH were upset, somehow. It was 6-7pm, and we came to my place, I immediately called my brother- nobody responded for an hour, so we went there- he was in the hospital already..) When I see now the Lord of 8th, Saturn in third...But, we all have to live with some pains, I guess.. But my today's birthday was unexpectedly full of pleasant surprises..Turned into a party.. I was feeling so good, like I wasn't feeling for a loooong time. My best wishes for all of us. Thanks, Das. Guest guest
Das: > >Carpo diem- Cease the day! > Dr Freud wonders if you mean cease or seize? :-) A diagnosis of many uncomfortable hours on a couch if it's the former...
