Guest guest
Christopher / Andrew, IMHO the 2nd rules speech and writing or even composing or painting etc. perhaps even singing and dancing - the manner of expression, the mental approach to deliver the goods. The 3rd would deal more with the contents of what one expresses - the mental intention or interest. I have Tarus lagna, Moon in gemini 2nd, katu in cancer 3rd. Mercury is debilitated in pisces, jupiter in virgo retro. I was always a good speaker and writer, generally precise and concise. But I have a problem with my voice and nose too - Merc deb. This precision often awakes the impression that I have a sharp tongue - mostly if people don´t see the humour of my words. But I don´t think I am ever impolite or insulting. I rarely swear except for "damn" or "shit" if something goes wrong, and never apply them to people like "damn you!". I have exalted sun in 12th, with owner mars. I do not strive for fame or success, but the desire to "achieve" something, whether it was recognized or not, was always there. It is only during the last few years that I am losing this desire. At school and in profession I was a prominent person and I certainly enjoyed the "fame", which I felt I deserved for what I had done. Getting fame as a "phoney" would not have pleased me at all! That is why I refuse to play astrologer professionally - I´ve had remarkable success on some occasions, but know that I have also failed, and cannot be sure of what I see. As to the synastric connections: I wrote about this not long ago. The contact points between you and all the authors, musicians, composers, painters etc. you like will be amazing. If anyone asks me to do a chart and I don´t find any contact point with my chart, I ask for verification of tob. Invariably the correct one gives me at least one contact. But I take only fairly close orbs, not merely signs. regards Mani
Guest guest
Hi, I was wondering, how does the arudha of a house play in all this? Do I have this right, that from the arudha comes how others perceive us, from the moon is how we perceive ourselves, and from the lagna is how it actually is? Could someone please explain this? Could someone please explain this? Angie Since this is a query derived from my letter: The term arudha itself implies esoteric info. This is subject to the intuition of the astrologer, no matter what rules are given. The comparison between how we see ourselves and how others see us is very difficult, in so far that we never see ourselves as being "bad"! So only what we are and how others see us is relevant. But here again, we are left only with how others see us. We never know what we are. Adolf Hitler was an "idol" for over 70 million people. What was he? A force of evil or the scourge of God to open the eyes of mankind to its follies? How did he see himself?.... For such questions I would trust no astrological interpretation but go on philosophical principles: Do not judge over others! regards Mani
