A chara Alex... Well "evil" is relative to the categorizer (is that word? who cares, it is now)... Alright so...in "good" ole "Americanized Astrology" the fifth house is also inclusive of a romantic environment--once again my Vedic knowledge has degraded a bit since I have not really utilized it in a while---that "joyful" kid like feeling of being in love (Leo being the indicated ruler of this house---Leo also ruling the heart, albeit not the strict emotional aspect of it)...therefore "afflictions" as you say can influence an environment of a romance gone awry (ok, so, his-tori-caul dogma relates that intimacy out of wedlock is a no no---but isn't 8th and/or 12th house in Vedic have to do with sex and bed pleasure??) effecting any possible children involved...again, what of 8th and 12th indicators...so yah, bad judgement in regards to 5th I see, but other inferences must be present...so many possible combos--so little ability to generalize hrmph... The 5th is the house of the mind, and the minds afflictions can result in many different problems.
