Guest guest
Om Amrtesvaryai Namah!! Namaste dear Chris!! i was reading your posting on possible synastric contacts between teachers and students...and your thoughts that Jupiter, Sun Moon, Lagnesh and Lagna, not to mention 5th and 9th houses... in my direct experience of this synastry, i would suggest that you could take it further, with including the use of Atmakarakas...as indicators...and we can also look to other houses for interesting contacts...not to mention those two naughty nodal knaves...Rahu and Ketu..Also one can meaningfully include the use of the 12th house, being as it is the Guru's home....in my own case this is significant, as my "Guru's Home" (12th) is Sagittarius...wherein Mercury (Budha) is sitting happily, in Mula ruled by Ketu...this is directly opposite my Amma's Jupiter in Mrigashira in Gemini...and thus directly aspected by it. In fact many, many, of Amma's children have a planet or even Rahu or Ketu in MULA....or directly aspecting Mula from Mrigashira in Gemini....some are a little wider in another Nakshatra of Gemini, but most are within the nakshatra...either Mula or Mrigashira...thus very much involved with Amma's Jupiter....now in my view, as Mula is said to be like a gateway, to the heart of the Universe...that there are some very big connections here....it almost seems as if the Divine Will manifesting thru Mula, and thus to our solar system, had in coming left its signature with the planets of the devotees....and Her own...to take birth as Sri Mata Amritanandamayi Devi...who is looked upon by many of Her Devotees to be an incarnation of the Divine Mother....Maha Kali.....strangely enough Amma's chart seems to support this supposition....as Her Lagna is in Libra, ruled by Venus, and right there too, is Sani...(Maha Kali) conjunct within 3 degrees with my natal Venus... which is my Ishta devata.... Thus the mind is led to see that my Ishta Devata=Venus=Amma=Mother Kali....now i know that Mother Kali is not known as equivalent to Venus, but She is a deity associated with Sani...Who is sitting majestically in Her Lagna Bhava....giving Shasha Yoga..and the Adi Para Sajti is said to be the Original Supreme Power from who all the creation proceeds...including the various "embodiments" such as Sani, Budha, Guru, and the rest.... As Amma's Moon is in Krittika in Taurus, She has been experiencing Sade Sati for some time now..... As Mother's Sade sati moves on we experience many difficulties...Her devotees, i mean...as it is not so easy for Amma, then it is also not so easy for Her children.... However by 2005, when Amma goes into Her Sani Mahadasha, and the Sade Sati ends....the Jyotishis are predicting that She will be world famous, and a household name ....with an evergrowing family of devotees all around the world...Right now we can see this beginning to take off...as more and more people hear of Her.... As for the Navamsha Jupiters....Both mine and Amma's are in Libra (mine with Venus!) in the Natal chart, too, my moon is conjunct with Amma's Rahu/ketu axis, and Amma's moon is directly aspecting my Sun, whereas my Rahu/ketu axis runs thru Leo, where Amma's mars and Venus are sitting..so i see nodal contacts as being very important for these kinds of relationships.... as for the ninth house, as i had explained on the other list....Virgo is my ninth and Amma's 12th (again the 12th)...and my Sani and Mars sit therein next to Amma's Mercury and Sun...and Mercury is Amma's Atmakaraka....so a very strong link there... In Navamsha Amma's Venus in the 4th is conjunct with my Ketu in the 3rd (cancer)... So we can see here that not only the planets you mentioned can be significators, if we use Atmakarakas....and look to other houses and planets and the nodes we can find lots of interesting study...As well you should realise that my chart is typical in its connections with Amma...just as you were saying about a favourite artist (and Mani had mentioned a while ago)....it holds for such a figure as Amma also...we discover many, many, many amazing synastric connections between the Holy Mother, and Her Devotees, and between the Devotees themselves!!!One big "happy" family i guess....or "everyone's been your mother!!" In the Divine Mother's Love and in Her Service, as ever, Your Own Self, visvanathan Om Amrtesvaryai Namah!
