Firstly, my condolences and prayers to all the

families who have suffered and lost loved ones in the

Gujarat disaster.

 

I am a novice to Jyotish astrology, and have a desire

to become proficient in it. My studies have just

begun.

 

I am a professional trader in options and have become

convinced that the markets are effected to a greater

extent to the movement of the planets.

 

Currently I am reading the following:

 

Light on Life, an introduction to the Astrology of

India, DeFouw and Svoboda,

 

Fundamentals of Vedic Astrology, Behari, and

 

Vedic Astrology, Dreyer.

 

Here is the Gujarat EQ Western chart.

 

Notice that Pluto is on the Mid-heaven, and the

Astro*Carto*Graphy chart (not shown) shows a

Pluto-Chiron-MC "corridor" passing right over the

Gujarat area. Pluto was on the MC during the USS

Cole naval ship terrorist bombing in Yemen, of last

year.

 

The triple conjunction of the Moon/Mercury/Uranus

square both Saturn and Mars, creating extreme tension.

 

The Sun/Neptune conjunction is exact, indicating mass

confusion and disbelief over the tragic event.
