Hello again,

I think everybody is thinking "the next guy/gal will do it..."

But guess what...

Out of 400 people on this list, nobody has responded to my call for

faxed in dashas from Parasharas Light.

I know a bunch of you have that wonderful program.

If you're thinking I'll get too many responses, so far I haven't gotten any.

Is that software that hard to use? ;-}

Please Santa, I want Dashas, and I want 'em today Santa!!!

------------------------

My birth data is:

Das G.

May 18 1960

4:43 AM

Oakland CA USA

What I need are dashas. Parashari conditionals etc. Here's the list of

dashas from BPHS most of which I am implementing and wish to test

against other programs if possible:

1 Vimshottari <----this one I don't need, of course

2 Astottari

3 Shodsottari

4 Dwadasottari

5 Panchottari

6 Shatabdika

7 Chaturashiti-Sama

8 Dwisaptati-Sama

9 Shashtihayani

10 Shattrishanta-Sama

11 Kala

12 Chakra

13 Kalachakra <----this one I don't need

14 Chara <----this one I don't need

15 Sthira

16 Kendra

17 Karaka

18 Brahmagraha

19 Mandooki

20 Shoola

21 Yogardha

22 Driga

23 Trikona

26 Pinda

27 Amsa

28 Naisargie

29 Ashtavarga

30 Sandhya

31 Pachaka

Any of the others not marked as you are willing, I would appreciate.

Faxing the printouts over to me is best.

You can email them too, if you have a format that I can open, such as

plain text.

Thanks for the work this puts you through.

Why not just buy a copy of it? It is common practice for competiting

software companies to buy the others product.

Das,

Just to let others know...I just tried to send you a Parashara's Light zip

file but don't know yet if it will be successful...It has been trying to fly

for a few, but it is the first time I ever sent anything in zip format. It

is still trying to go. I'll give it another 15 minutes and then quit - its

been a good 5 already...Jyotish I know - computers I don't. :(

I first tried sending it to you in Acrobat Reader but after it tied up my

email account for half hour I quit. I don't have a fax, so I scanned

it...I'm trying though...:)

Hi Das,

I hope by now you've managed to get your printed out Parashara Dasas. I'd be

more than happy to do it but unfortunately I don't have a fax.

Das,

I have PL2000 but I am pretty busy and it seems to me the number of pages

needed to be faxed might be expensive phone - wise. PL output can only be

printed or viewed on-screen. The way it is designed, you can not get a disk

file or even copy/paste. This is one of several things about it that annoys

me. (I hope your new version of GJ can do this). The only way to get a

file that can be e-mailed is to scan the printed output from PL. Sometimes

even the print-outs have lines that are double printed and un-readable. If

you can be patient I will work on it tomorrow for you, if you wish.

PS - I am going to buy GJv3 also when it is released.

"Why not just buy a copy of it? It is common practice for competiting

Dasji knows that

If Das wanted it, he would have had it already- obviously he didn't- if he

asked Listers for a particular thing, I guess that's what's he needs, and

the way HE wants that- being clear on this, didn't leave much room for other

suggestions, as per my understanding, If with I had one......I would have

responded promptly, but, u unfortunately I don't.

Dean will send this to Dashji, Thanks Dean, you solved the problem for all of

us/`waiting Das software and insights,

Thank you,

Anna

There is no copy/paste or clipboard function with the dashas on PL...Only a

View and Print screen available.

I tried to scan just 2 dashas and send them by way of Acrobat Reader, and

they wouldn't go. Too large. So I put them in a zip file, and after a half

hour or 45 minutes they were returned to me as undeliverable. I don't have
