Moon/Jup Conjunction in 9th, Afflicted???

I am doing a chart and in the 9th house she has the Moon in Pisces in the ninth

and Jupiter retrograde in Pisces in the 9th. Her rising is Cancer, so wihle the

Moon may be in the sign of an enemy, it appears basically good and according to

her rising, it is neutral. I start to do the conjunction part of her chart and I

have this little book on conjunctions. Yeah, I know they are not recommended but

they are a good way to get started. Anyway, I was going to use what they said in

the book and than add my own. However, I can't relate to, or understand, why

they are saying this conjunction is afflicted??? So I will type it here, first

the general read and next "Afflicted," since they have the 9th house

afflicted!?? And maybe someone can clear tihs up?

his enemies, fickle minded, possess wife, chidren and will be well behaved. Some

one should bury undre the house an empty utensil of silver.

 

AFFLICTED

 

When this conjunction is unfavorable, one will face troubles, poverty and

disputes. In such cases one should avoid to purchase articles ofmusic which will

result in death of parents. In such case upaye of Ketu will be beneficial, one

should bury Ketu's articles in the ground, or putin his neck. (Get this!)

PARTICULARLY WHEN POISTED IN 9TH HOUSE, one should not use the money earned by

his daughter, should not accept donatins, this will act as poison and poverty

from the date of this marriage and birth of daughter. Upaye of Ketu will be

Ok, so I am not talking about all the silver burrying and so on, but I sure

would like to know why the 9th house is considered afflicted for Moon/Jupiter

conjunction? I thought this was the most spiriutal house, unless thats it, are

they talking about money and that it is bad for materialism? But Jupiter is in

the 9th too. Ok, I'm lost. Any ideas out there?
