>I have PL2000 but I am pretty busy and it seems to me the number of pages

needed to be faxed might be expensive phone - wise. PL output can only be

printed or viewed on-screen. The way it is designed, you can not get a disk

file or even copy/paste. This is one of several things about it that annoys

me. (I hope your new version of GJ can do this).

Yes, for some time now, with new features I write, I always make sure GJ

outputs pure text in both fixed length format as well as tab delimited.

This is because I take research seriously, and just general computer

etiquette seriously. On computers, we have to be able to move things

around. In GJ3, you'll see this trend increasing. Almost all output can

be output to pure text. I really want users to feel that it is a good

resource, a tool, something they can rely on and really get use out of.

So yes, the dashas and all things, as far as I'm able, will output to

pure text in a few ways.

By the way, I am having a C++ programmer rewrite my dasha routines at

this time. We are going about it very systematically together he and I,

and that's why I'm doing them all at this time. You will be able to get

all dashas, VERY VERY FAST, instant, and up to 6 levels, or 1, 2, 3,

etc., and events will always be merged in, and internally they will all

be using the same variables, so they'll be switchable onscreen in

various features, and yes, the output will be better than what you're

describing here.

I'm also going to be renaming the program upon release. It will probably

be "Jyotish Studio 3". I'm hoping to make the hits feature very fast

with the help of C++ as well, which will go a long ways towards making

the Muhurtha Finder feature a reality, since finding hits or ingresses

is a big part of that, and mine currently executes more slowly due to

the language I use, which is a bit slow for such large time-searching loops.

So that's just a bit of news.

Fast dashas are also the key to a good rectification window, so that

will be more possible.
