Life doesn't have to go a certain way to be called spiritual. Such a view is neophyte. Sometimes we have to do this or that according to situation we are placed within, but we are not judged by that, that is God's will upon us. We only judge ourselves, as we make choices, and this is how we commit to life, by our choices within the frame in which we live. So according to what you can do in life, easily, without too much trouble, is fine. So if the situation forces you to focus on getting your lives together financially, then that's what you have to do, but how you feel about life is what is Spiritual or not. We are forced to do many things according to our birth situations and natures, but we can feel better about the process if we see ourselves as servants with little choice of what we do, but only control over the attitude with which we do it. This is a view that works better with real life. So whether you have this or that temple, or publish this or that translation of this or that Acaryas words, is not success or failure, but how you proceed to struggle with and endure the challenges life places before you; you will be forced to live life some way, so caring about which way is useless, as the art of living life in proper consciousness is based on not being concerned about what comes at you, but rather how you deal with it, so what comes at you, don't care about that. So if poverty is coming, then you have to turn to financial concerns, but do so without worry about it's rightness or wrongness, but do it because Krishna is wanting you to do it. Everything is in God, and you can go ahead and see God in all things, including the waves of material nature all around you. God is training everyone, and as there is so much immaturity, therefore there is so much reaction and suffering in life, as the material nature has been polluted now after so long of many bad choices over many thousands of years by many thousands of souls. So we live in a relative Hell of reaction at this time. So all the more the reason to just follow our natures, give the results mentally to God, try to be detached at all times, and serve at all times, just trying to remember the Supreme Lord, which is the big picture, the truest picture, of this reality. Our natures are woven into the fabric of this maya place, and we play a part in the mundane lives of many, and the spiritual lives of ourselves, which is the real view. If the real view was prominent, this world would be different, but it is not. But the truth is all are in God only, there is nothing else. So by seeing this truth always we can see rightly, and become peaceful. You cannot change this world, as it is already in God, but you can reflect the truth of God by first feeling it fully internally. Then you emanate it naturally, and others will see it and be effected. Even if they don't see it consciously, the ripple you create while in divine consciousness is different from and more pure than the ripple in conscious energy created by the person who is not in divine consciousness, and so you affect the world in an unseen way by your "being" without any effort outside of simply taking care of your own internal spiritual life, which is personal, and unseen by others. So in any country, under any circumstances, you can go on in this way, unaffected really, by the particulars of that time and place. You will die and not be in those bodies in a short time. You are servants of God. You have no real ultimate place here, only staying here some time, not forgetting beautiful Lord Ram, shining and glorious, loving, kind, sturdy, protective, and so on. Remembering Him, we can on and on here, knowing that here we don't live, here we die. We live in our thoughts, which are up to us to control so it feels, so we should see, so we should try. It's up to us to make our lives beautiful from within. No matter what the karma. There is no success outside of our inside. Inside us is the challenge, and the reward, to making our inside bright and happy. Our Lord will be most pleased with us if we make a place for him in our hearts firstly and mostly. It's how we see it. This is his plan here. It is all good. All is in Sri Ram already. Beauty rules. God rules. Let us make Him live in us, then all becomes clear. Knowing Him is clarity. There is no clarity that compares to that clarity. There is no reality like the biggest reality, which is this Vaisnava thinking. It is not your service externally that matters, but your internal service. It may be a hard lot to tow for some time that you have been given by our Lord. No matter, take proper care, and we will meet in another place, on another level, in due time. Then we can talk more about the funny challenges of this life and laugh, then go to see our beautiful Sri Ram, who is more beautiful than the beautiful people of His world. The Most Beautiful. That is God. Most Beautiful. He is Kind, Loving, Eternal, and Awesome. His energy spreads everywhere, as do his laws embedded in nature. Nobody gets away with anything. So those consciously trying to gradually live up to being His respectful servants are on the right track and the last track of living in this place here. It is not about judging particular actions as good or bad, it is about how much we make surrendering our food and pleasure. Accept and reject as best you can, but do not be too hard on yourself or anyone else. We are making slow progress as best we can. Rejoice and Share. Delight in the spread of the Light of God in a sincere and real way. No pretending, no expecting, just hoping, and trying yourself to give, for in giving we will find Him living. There is no Guru that can help you or guide you if you yourself are resisting the Lord inside you. The atom is the biggest weapon, the soul is stronger than anything. The smallest thing is most powerful. The president of the United States seems powerful, but that position is totally related to the temporary relative, so it is actually nothing at all, whereas the soul is totally related to the eternal everything, so it is so important, and actually powerful. And you are that. Each of us is more important than fame or money. Each of us shall last forever, and we live in thought and feeling, so explore that plane. Persons like this are automatically intelligent and good, but few.
