I believe that the abodes you explain are mere abodes such as hell and earth in general. The true liberation comes through moksha and this is where one unites with the lord. The word OM, bring us closer to this unity with god, and thus mantra is actually a remedial used to come closer to god.. this is among the reasons as why BV Raman, and Parasari Jyotish practitioneers, negelect gem therapy, as none of the Vedas state anything about gem therapy, and nor does Parasara. Only the Puranas(written during Kali Yuga) have mention of gem therapy. Parasara actually promotes complete obeissance towards Vishnu, which is clear through the given mantras in his Shastra, and this is why i am for Mantras not gems.
