Guest guest
Dear Ann, Wendy, Mani, When I saw the father for the first time, I expected to meat a monster now because of the daughters` bad stories. Nothing! Sceptically I watched him but he neither seemed cruel nor was he very harshly in speak. So I too find it possible, that he might have lost his selfcontrol. This might have been credible too for some strange situations in the parents` bed. But why did the liontwin suffer so obviously while the virgotwin is relatively OK? And why had the liontwin this dangerous troubles with her partner? Could this only be a case of mentally disposition belonging to the different ascendants ? Here I am a bit doubtful. Perhaps he could have been accidentally more brutal in the liontwins case, as she was more refusing his attacks and he had to be more cautious in the marital bed? The more I think about this case the lesser it seems to be clear for me. Best wishes, Ilona I

Best wishes, Ilona Hello Ilona, The way I see it the Leo (1st) twin suffered abuse from "spouse" due to the conjunction of Venus and debilitated Mars in 12th house...not necessarily, or directly, as a result of (physical) sexual abuse in childhood. Although it's clear with the exchange (of signs) between Moon in Taurus (in 10th) and Venus in Cancer (in 12th) that she suffered emotional damage. Venus/Mars conjunction in 12th is a sure testament to violent (sexual) relations with spouse...whereas with Virgo (2nd twin) the exchange between Asc lord Mercury in 12th and 12th lord Sun in ascendant suggests the non-violent sexual abuse at start of life. Venus in 12th (1st twin) shows expenditure on luxury items, as you stated, designer clothes etc... 10/3 lord Venus in 12th shows difficulties with status/career, self-effort, motivation etc...so her inherent difficulties in getting her life together. 2nd twins debilitated Mars (sexual energy) is helped by conjunction of 9th lord Venus...spouse not so harmful sexually...although separation and divorce can be seen with Venus conjunct 8th lord. The fact that 2nd twin is relatively Okay (as you say) is due largely to the fact that 4th lord (happiness & contentment) and Moon (planet of the mind) have gone to the auspicious 9th house. You say she's employed healing methods such as Reiki etc... But rather than go on infinitum, I'll agree with you that it's a perplexing case study. Best Regards Wendy
Guest guest
Hi Wendy, > >Venus/Mars conjunction in 12th is a sure testament to violent (sexual) >relations with spouse... This is not true in my husband's case, he has Mars & Venus in 12th in Sag. Guest guest
Again Sunita: we fall down when we make generalisations such as this. In the particular chart I was referring to, Mars (to begin with) is in fallen sign. With Sagittarius, Mars is in "Own Sign" in 12th...the outcome IS DIFFERENT! I was referring to ONE PARTICULAR CHART, not charts unseen! My Son also has Sagittarius rising with VE/MA conjunct in 12th. Regards Wendy PS: The (sincere) exchange of knowledge should not be seen as some sort of contest. My feeling is that we're offering the knowledge we've gained over many years in a spirit of generosity...freely given with no ulterior motive other than to serve jyotish. Guest guest
Correction: I note (in your husband's chart) that Mars is in friendly sign in Sagittarius (not Sagittarius rising as I hastily presumed). However, again, friendly Mars conjunct yogakaraka Venus in 12th will have a Different outcome than FALLEN MARS conjunct INIMICAL VENUS in 12th...such as the case in the twin's chart. Guest guest
Dear Wendy, Regarding your comment about contesting, who am I to contest with you ? Your knowledge is an ocean, mine just a big zero !. I sent the comment for novices like me, who may be mislead in coming to that conclusion due to the way the sentence was framed. I am sincerely trying to learn jyotish, and you all are my gurus (I still have the nice e-mail you sent analyzing my friend's career problems very accurately some time back. I can't do anything like that in this lifetime). Your comment on my husband's horoscope was soothing. In addition to Mars and venus, he also has Jupiter and Saturn in the 12th. Don't know what to make of all that crowd. And his Jupiter Mahadasa starts next month !. Thanks- regards, Sunita. >"Wendy Vasicek" <wenvas >gjlist ><gjlist> >RE: [gjlist] Twinsisters >Fri, 16 Mar 2001 09:36:16 +0800 > >Correction: >I note (in your husband's chart) that Mars is in friendly sign in >Sagittarius (not Sagittarius rising as I hastily presumed).
