De Luce, mysteries, and what is up w/ this?!

Thanks, I'll have to look at this a little more closely when time

permits... I kind of like puzzles and having to dig for treasure in old books

& such with Vedic astrology. (Not that the clearer authors don't make me

really happy, just can't resist a mystery).

What else do you know about De Luce? Be honest, I know you will.

Sure would love your opinion--and anyone else's who cares to--on this

one:

It's just so great when something leaps out at you from a chart & you

find out it's true; it's like God leaving us little notes. My husband (who

is not into any of this) asked me to do a chart for someone as a gift, and

the chart gave me a fit. Read that Saturn in the 7th in a chart can make it

tough on reading it. I was having trouble finding something good in the

chart! It's not like she came to me w/ a specific request. At any rate, she

has ninth house (Gemini) aspected by debiltated Saturn, in 7th (asc catches

that glance too) and ninth lord is deblitated and conjunct Sun Karaka of

father AND aspected by Mars and Ketu. Immediately it was like the

spirit of some real (as opposed to me) departed jyotishi "told" me that her

father died when she was very young. So I told my husband I was having

trouble with this chart but to see if I'm on the right track re: the father.

He asked a friend of hers if the girl had a dad, and the friend said

the dad died when the girl was 4 yeas old. He said he got chills when he

heard this and he sure had a funny expression on his face.

But it was also reassuring.

If anyone is interested, the chart has Libra Lagna with Venus in

4th--conjunct Rahu. (Mother is disabled but the girl very lovingly takes

care of her, by the way.)

The girl has Jupiter in 2nd-- conjunct debilitated Moon. Mars in 3rd.

Aforementioned Venus conj Rahu in 4th. Sun conj Mercury in 6th. Saturn in

7th. Ketu in 10th. What is with three debilitated planets and then Venus

in 4th has to have a conj w/ Rahu? That's why I wrote to the list wanting to

know if someone would post a list of all the cancellations of

debiltation--have it somewhere, but most of my books are in storage. The

birth info is :

Navamsa is way better and her Lagna is same in rasi & navamsa. Jupiter is in

Lagna in Navamsa. Venus in Cancer; Sun in own joy. Nothing is debiltated in

Navamsa. So that is good.

She also has diabetes (wears a pump on her side; is happy, never whines about

anything), is twin to a much taller sister who was born 4 minutes later.

Here is the other fascinating thing about this person: she does an enormous

amount of charity work: it is her recreation, you could say! Almost every

day! She's not rich either.

I told my husband with all that charity work she does, her chart almost

doesn't matter, she is doing remedial work without knowing anything about

that, just out of having a good generous heart!
