Dear Noel, Namaste.

I found that I didn't have the Yogini Dasa, so I made a worksheet.. for those

who suscribe to "vedic astrology" list, operated by Narasimha, and Sanjay Rath,

you can download a Yogini Dasa (excel)worksheet in the file section(under

Nakshatra Dasa's).

- Yogini Dasa -

A Yogini is a scary deity, mostly associated with death and other troubles.

Yogini implies the destruction of Yoga, and can be used to acurately time death.

There are 8 Yoginis, and grahas, excluding Ketu.

The exclussion of Ketu is mostlikely the reason that Yogini Dasa shouldn't be

used to time moksha. Ketu's uninvolvement would mean that Yogini Dasa can be

used to time all ailment, as ketu will avoid any activity, for the benefit of

renouncing the world.

The Yogini Dasa of Ulka(Saturn) runs from 2005(Solar year) and 2004(Lunar year).

Ulka is placed in 11th house from Lagna, and conjoined Mandi and Gulika,

producing alot of anxiety. Saturn is aspected by both nodes, with no alieviating

aspect. No doubt this is a very bad period for her, healthwise. But judging from

her longevity, she will live beyond this period.

Ulka lords Navamsa lagna and is also highly afflicted there, indicating a severe

disease. As Venus also aspects, a disease of sexual nature is indicated, or a

disease in the urinals.

Venus is conjoined Atmakaraka, indicating troubles due to insatiable sexual

lust(mars+venus).

- Vimshottari Dasa -

Yogini Dasa was used to time evils, whereas Vimshottari is used to time all

events. To time events dealing with evils/troubles, we should judge Vimshottari

Dasa from Trimsamsa. Jaimini recommended this for Trimsamsa as well.

Maha Dasa of Venus runs, and is placed in 12th house in Trimsamsa, conjoined

Jupiter in own house, and aspected by Saturn and both the nodes. This indicates

that ailments due to Venus(sex/ovaries.. etc), will surface. And they will

happen in the Antar Dasa of Mercury as mercury is in the trimsamsa lagna and is

conjoined 7th lord from Trimsamsa lagna.

Jupiters conjunction with Venus alieviates the disease, and shows healing

potential, through devotional prayer(Sag+12th house). The healing will manifest

in Jupiters PratyAntar Dasa.

- Conclussion -

Keep in mind that Yogini Dasa is used exclussively to time evils, and is a

supplement to time these evils acurately, whereas Vimshottari Dasa is an

"all-purpose" dasa system.

One could use Yogini Dasa in various vargas to pinpoint the troubles, such as

mental stress in education(d-24), and etc, but Vimshottari Dasa should be used

with Trimsamsa to confirm these evils.

Hope this helps.

Best wishes, Visti.

Hello List,

I am surprised to know that Yogini is a dasha used to time only evil events

and foolishly I was using it for all good events. Then, I think, again I

have not understood astrology when I see that arishtas (evils) are to be

seen from Trimshamsha. If the Rashi (birth chart) does not contain any evil,

what Trimshamsha can do ?

Yogini is an excellent confirmatory dasha and can be used safely for good or

bad events.

Try using it.

with best regards,

Manoj
