Twin insanity comparison D-30

Dear Alex,

Thankyou for the interesting example AND posting a chart for

those of us who are technologically challenged!.

I think the term 'insanity' is being used rather loosely, both generally

and in this example. The Macquarie Dictionary defines insanity as "...more

or less permanent derangement of one or more psychical functions, due to

disease of the mind...such unsoundness of mind as affects legal

responsibility or capacity." You present a 'which came first, the chicken or

the egg?' approach, and your logic regarding a pre-existing condition

appears sound. However, although the behaviour is insane, is there a choice

to commit such behaviour?. I strongly suspect a Court of Law would not

accept 'insanity' as a defence in the case of the youngest twin.

The D-30 chart of twin2 is admittedly challenging, but I am not convinced

he is propelled beyond his will. Lagna Lord deb in 12th hse has the capacity

for self undoing. Atmakaraka Rahu is comfortable in own sign with the

company of friend and yogakarak Saturn. Rahu's 5th hse placement adds an

element of compulsion. Eclipsed 10th Lord Moon by 11th Lord Sun in Capricorn

4th hse may manifest through egoistic Leo 11th hse of desires. (This may

also lend toward 'issues' with elder sibling). The wilfulness of Rasi Mars

in Aries Lagna is 'flipped' in D-30 projecting this characteristic onto

others at a subconscious level.

My appraisal requires much more thought as I am usually wary and hesitant

to pronounce insanity.

You are welcome. I thought this an interesting case as it shows a

vast difference between the character of two twins born with the same

Rasi Lagna, and clearly illustrates the necessity of rectifying a

chart for the Navamsa at least.

 

Thanks for the information on 'insanity'. He has been diagnosed by

several people as 'psychotic', and this is a very serious ailment as

it involves violence, massive ego and extreme disillusionment. But he

is able to function well enough to be successful at work. However I

believe him to be capable of killing someone without remorse, so this

to me is very insane.

 

He has been described as 'Doctor Jeckyll and Hyde' by numerous people

due to his opposite personalities, being nice at times and completely

evil and remorseless at others.

 

As regards the D-30 position of Rahu and Saturn in their own signs in

the 5th forming a kendra-trikona yoga, he does have a strong mind,

and I do not believe him to be out of control of it. That is why he

is scary. The combination of all of the evil planets here make him

very evil minded, yet he is still intelligent and able to use his

mind to commit his crimes.

 

But no one has commented on possession. I have read that the

combination of malefics in trines cause such, especially Rahu and

Ketu. Again the two charts are useful for comparison, as the rasi on

the surface indicates this for both twins, yet the navamsa makes the

difference.

I have two interesting charts in file showing the use of Trimsamsa as

they are two twins that I know.

 

One was normal until he went insane (psychotic) during the Rahu-Mars

cycle(Dec 1999 till now), while the other twin had no such effect.

The subsequent insanity lead to heavy drug use, daily alcoholism, sex

with prostitutes and maximum anti-depressant use.

 

He in this period has become aggressively violent getting into

fights, and has chased a group of teenagers fleeing by foot in his

car. He also did not care if he lived or died. He told me he wanted

to kidnap a girl.

 

His chart indicates possession, and a friend of mine and myself have

seen spirits in his apartment on several occasions.

 

The other twin lead a very normal existence in the Rahu-Mars cycle.

 

According to the times both of their Rasi and Navamsa lagnas are the

same. Trimsamsa is different. However I believe that the older twin

may have a Libra Navamsa.

 

The cause of insanity was due to a breakup with the girlfriend. The

other twin's relationship with his girlfriend became much stronger

during this period, and they ended up moving into a house together.

 

In Trimsamsa the insane twin has Rahu, Saturn and Ketu in the 5th

house in Aquarius. Mars, the most powerful maraka aspects this

combination in the 5th by Rasi dristi from Aries in the 7th. For

verification this twin also has an internal urinary tract infection

due to his sexual indulgences during this period of Mars in the 7th,

while his brother did not.

 

The navamsa has exalted maraka in the 5th house, which forms a

bandhana yoga with Moon in the 9th which shows the bondage his mind

is under. The 5th house has papakartari yoga with Sun and Mars. The

5th lord is Jupiter which forms Guruchandala yoga with Rahu in the

maraka house. Guruchandala yoga with the 5th lord shows mental

perversion, in the sign of Taurus in the 7th it indicates towards

females.

 

All of the women he has dated and slept with are all very corrupt,

taking drugs, comitting adultery and sleeping with several men.

 

In contrast the other brother has only slept with one woman, who he

is seeing presently, and I think they will marry. She is faithful and

normal. She is successful in business and athletic. Although she

orders her boyfriend around, she is a nice person, and cares deeply

for him.

 

An interesting thing to note is that the insane twin is very

financially successful, much more so than his brother.
