Guest guest
Respected experts, I am really confused over which ayanamsa to consider to determine my chart. I get a gemini lagna if I take up the raman ayanamsa / krushnaa ayanamsa and a taurus lagna if i take up lahiri / krishnamurthi. considering events in my life I find each one correct in one way. The taurus rising correctly with saturn and rahu in the fourth house quite correctly accounts for my family problems so far, while if I were to consider the gemini rising while mercury + mars in 11 indicates that i should be poor and average in studies which is quite contrary to the fact that I am not. I recently came across another list where astrology was taught and it adopted the ashtavarga system for timing / prediction / strength of events. Yet another place predicting on the basis of kalachakra dasa. they both appear to differ in a lot of ways. Can some one shed some light into the issues of the ayanamsa, and the system to be adopted to predict. Thanks in advance, With Much Respect, Karthik
Guest guest
Go with Raman. It works for me The finer points about your Mercury-Mars in 11 would have to be looked at closer however Curtis B At 02:49 AM 4/9/01 +0000, you wrote: >Respected experts, > > I am really confused over which ayanamsa to consider to determine >my chart. Dear Karthik, These questions are repeatedly asked, but nobody knows the answers. Each tries and adopts what he finds best. You may get very different answers, you have to experiment - all your life, perhaps! regards Mani
Guest guest
I respect your view. But, I am confused. Richard Houck used a slight deviation from Lahiri that is available in GJ. Please elaborate. Thank you. Dave Meyer >All astrologers should use Lahiri until they find its faults, then >chose another Ayanamsa. -- David P.
