Yes, Jaimini describes the various lagna, but for calculations he refers to

standard texts.

 

Jaimini explains the use of the various lagnas in this mannor:

 

Hora Lg; The person from the perception of wealth.

Ghati Lg; The person form the perception of fame and power.

 

The rest are specifically used for Dasa's.

 

The reference to the various lagnas in his Upadesa, are to givers of

Yoga(yogadas).

 

Keep in mind that by aspect is meant Sign aspect.

 

- Yogadas -

A planet aspecting/joining or lording either Jamna Lagna & GL, or Jamna Lagna &

HL, becomes a Yogada for the person, and can one can time Rajas from such a

strong planet.

 

- Maha Yogadas -

If a planet is aspected/joining or lording Jamna Lagna, HL & GL, then it becomes

Maha Yogada and s a Great giver of Yoga.

 

- Kevala Maha Yogada -

If a planet is either Yogada or Maha Yogada, and is Suphati as well(lords moon

sign), then it becomes Kevala Maha Yogada(exclussive great giver of Yoga).

 

These various things can be used to time Raja Yogas very acurately.. I might

give an example in the future.
