dear Mani

Thanks for your nice and warm greetings. Moctezuma was not a popular guy. You

see, ever before the time when the Sun crossed the milky Way, due to the

precession of the equinox (around 1500's), the natives of the American Continent

(no this does not means that it is owned by the gringos although they think they

do :-)> ) predicted and expected their end of their civilization. So their

leaders tried hard to remain in power and hired heavy black tantrics to organize

human sacrifices to satisfy the gods. So, Moctezuma used to have meals with

human flesh thinking that in that way he and his people were going to overrule

the prophecy. In the end God had other plans and the Aztec empire fell down.

Juarez is the best among our heroes. Born poor in the mountains of oaxaca from

Indian peasents, he was spotted by freemasons and paid for his education in

private schools. He became a lawyer and eventually President of mexico. I

would say he was a goodie.

In those times wives used to call their husbands by their surnames and so his

wife used to call him Juarez. Oh the old days!

In my home town we had a picturesque character. Poor but became rich by selling

tortas (sandwiches) and tacos in the 60's. His shop was very small, a take away

shop of 2 metres wide front but people used to love his food and his diguises.

His nickname was el Gordolele cos of being fat. Evry day he used to change his

disguise, one day he was a red chief Indian, next he was an astronaut, next he

was Abhram Lincoln and so on. But one day he crossed the line and became

Juarez. The police came and took him to jail for a week after paying a huge

fine for comptempt and for being rude to our national hero. To tell you the

truth, i do not think that mexican politicians have a respect for juarez, it is

a show to exploit mexicans. Do what i say and not what i do. But Juarez

brought a lot of needed reforms in mexico and cared for people in general.

I will try to finf info on Amerindians. It is like gathering pieces of a big

jig-saw.

A Forest of Kings by Linda Schele & David Freidel 1990. William Morrow and

Company, INC. new York. I got it from the local library to save money and space

to store it.

I do not know if in Germany the libraries can get books for you. Here i pay

about $0.75 to the library to get a book i need. They search around the country

and if available i get it for 3 weeks. If i can find it in my local libraries,

i do not have to pay anything and i can renew it every 3 weeks. Nice service.

<<The future work alone is not enough, but a great deal of backward research. A

simple example: when astrologers depict the heaven in a chart, the east point is

shown on the left, which transposes the the positions as in a mirror.

We are used to showing east on the right in a map. Further, the chart is

2-dimensional: it shows MC and IC, which are in a plane at right angles to the

flat east-west-north -south plane. Archaelogists etc., ignorant of this,

dismiss the charts given in graves as imaginary or false observation - or just

riddles! Because they don´t show positions as in an astronomical atlas! Many

dates can be rectified if we get the charts found in the diggings!>>

You are right. Their pride (archeologists) has to come down before they get the

real idea. There are so many things that they are missing. A friend of mine in

Architecture school was Mayan and told me that their oral tradition told them

that in some pyramides, the stairs diminish in proportion as they go up, but

archeologists are "restoring" them as having the same height from bottom to top.

<<Good hunting!>>

Marlon Brandon did a good job in acting like Zapata. Zapata's problem was that

he was not a politician and became complacent. that is why they kill him.

Villa is another good hero. Villa and his men came from the North of Mexico on

horses defeating the army. Zapata came from the South. Villa and Zapata

reached Mexico city at the same time. Both were amazing generals and Rommel

used to copy Villa's tactics.

When Villa and Zapata took over the National Palace, they offer to each other

the presidential chaise. There is a famous photo showing them sharing the seat

(for a laugh and a photo as souvenir) and then left the City. None of them

wanted to be politician. That was their mistake, the cake was stolen by the

baddies again.

<<When J.F.K. visited the Alamo, he felt tired at the end, asked the curator if

he

could get out thru some back door and avoid the crowds waiting for him at the

entrance to the fort. The Curator answered, "Mr. President, there is

unfortunately no back door in this fort. Maybe that´s why there were so many

heroes!".... These words were heard and the poor curator had a tough time to

escape being lynched!>>

It is amazing how politicians brainwash innocent people in the name of

patriotism. people get kill and politicians eat the cake.

I have only seen the tail of a rattler snake after being shed. And i only heard

of a friend of mine that was bitten by a poison spider on his bum, because he

was searching for peyotle in the desert and sat over a rock that was the house

of the poor spider. He was ok after spending a week in hospital with high

temperature and more allucinations than the peyotle can give.

No, our fauna is polite except the mosquitos but they also spare some people.

One day Srila Prabhupada was in Mexico and some disciples ask him why the

mosquitos do not bothered him. One of them ask if it was because he was a saint

or a pure devotee. He laughed and he say +/- "oh no, but they are more polite

than in India"

Mexico Lindo y Querido, si muero lejos de ti, que digan que estoy dormido y que

me traigan aqui.

This mexican song says "Beautiful and dear Mexico. If i die far away from here,

i want you to say that i am sleeping and bring my body here"
