Guest guest
Namaste Brother Kasi, Whoa up! Yes, it was a public meeting, and yes, the people I described were devotees. Dressed 'purely' in white and even being kind enough to verbalise to me, their devotion to Amma!. I am not so naive as to think these people could in anyway reflect negatively on Mother or Her message...they just haven't quite 'got it' yet!. I am sorry if you are offended that I answered publicly. However I thought it was timely considering the rigid fundamentalism and 'more holy than thou' atmosphere that is rife on the list, and indeed present in everyday life. I believe awareness of our human frailties leads us to humility. Awareness can often be uncomfortable. My position is in no way antagonistic to Mother or her devotees. It is behaviour we see everyday in every walk of life...and none of us are innocent or exempt. As a lovely Leonian, I know all about pedestals!!. You either gingerly ease your way down safely of your own accord, or something comes along that will knock you on your backside!. Either way, the lesson is...lofty heights do not necessarily afford a clearer view!. In Her Service, Your sister, Ann.
