Guest guest
Pranaams. Actually I live in Denmark, so its really hard to get a bookstore with all the treats of Jyotish, but I've been quite lucky. I quickly picked up on Western Astrology but only managed to buy one book on it. 2 years later I was imerged into Jyotish, and I started giving many good readings. Gues the intuition helped alot in this regard. One day, I stubled upon a person from Australia. We met over the Internet and he applauded my skill, and offered to send me his books(Big thanx Ash!), he's also got a big Jupiter. It so happened that he sent me Santhanams edition of BPHS, Phala Deepika, some excellent books on Prasna, Palmistry and a few of Ramans best, along with some other great books. Offcourse I was shining with excitement when I recieved the rather big parcel, and ate my way through BPHS, in 2-3 days of intense reading. I simply went haywire! Then once the storm settled down(took quite some time), I began ordering new ones from a friendly Dane, who had a great interest into Nadi, and the likes. He orders them abroad for the indian price and gets them shipped. Saves alot of money, and offcourse makes it easier for the student I am. Maybe I should settle for something abit cooler, like Inder, all that reading surely heats the mind. I joined SJVC, this december, when I felt spiritually ready, which sure has been a big step. In the time i've spent with Jyotish, i've begun to really understand this world, a goal that i'm sure has been the prime reason for people to study astrology, and the likes. I simply sit astounded when Sanjay Rath explains the Brahma Vidya, the stories of the 9 grahas, and how to understand all this in Jyotish. When i have nothing to read, i read the archives, and sit in a little slur of divineness .. usually with a big smile =). Thats usually when i change my status to "Jaya Jagannath". I can't wait till Robert, publishes his future books. I remember times when we discussed spiritual prospects of charts, and have always admired his chart. He's surely come a long way. How many know his background as a Vedic Monk(Patraka Das)? Hopefully a long biography, will be published to remember him by in his latter years. He will no doubt attain the chance to achieve Moksha, hopefully he'll chose come back to teach us more, and thats when I'll call him Acharya. Jaya Jagannath Best wishes, Visti.
