I love these mid month get-togethers...fine food, good company and a gentle breeze... the soft moist grass under this huge ancient tree is just too perfect!..I feel safe and effortlessly content, the dappled sunlight dancing on my face and the sweet scent of frangipani wafting and mingling with the smiles and laughter...watching the children play in innocent delight...the old ones baffling and amusing us with far-fetched but poignant stories...another sticky bun? I really shouldn't...but they are just soo delicious!...and why deny myself?! Life is too short and precarious not to embrace abundance!...
