Guest guest
Hello Chris, Would it be possible to state the time differently? So that there can be no misunderstanding about AM and PM. I propose the following: 10.05 is AM and 22.05 would be PM you know, just to humor those europeans.... Sanny

Dear Sanny, Very good suggestion, but in practice difficult. There are always newcomers who will not know the convention.if you know the native convention, it is not too bad. The Indian convention is a bit confusing: 12:15 am means 00:15 for us Europeans. Since I have been on the list for 4 years and have reoeatedly pleaded for standardization of dates and times, I can say it is impossible! The Yanks will always give the dates as month/day/year, time in am and pm. We are not a closed community, new people come in every day. It is useless making rules that newcomers do not know. Buut even the old-timers have a problem suddenly thinking different for the GJLIST! So if you have a doubt, always ask what is meant! regards mani
Guest guest
Yes, it is a good suggestion to maintain the time format as 22.05......also can I suggest that it might be really very helpful if we include the birth chart in the quiz along with the birth details...( if the entire chart is too huge to attach, at lease the basic Rasi/Navamsa Chart and the corresponding Dasa/Anthardasa details during the corresponding event would be good enough for ready reference.) I am sure it would be very helpful for those who do not have a software readily available to calculate the chart immediately...or even those who are lazy to calculate...
