Guest guest
Kiran Anand wrote: > Hello all, > On the below lines is it possible to determine gender > of the person by looking at the charts. Dear Kiran, Perhaps! I did not see the gender from the chart, it was posted with the DOB. There is a book called Nadi Rectification with Tables, by Dr. Bh. Satyanarayana Rao. According to this system, male and female births are possible only at certain times, depending on the combination of time after sunrise, day of week and moon´s nakshatra. Actually the aothor uses it to rectify TOBs by gender, but you can check gender if TOB is very certain. This is theory: in practice I have not found the tables reliable, despite the number of examples given. But then, some factor is perhaps missing. You can try iz out. The book was publishd by the B.N. Press, Chennai, India. Would like feedback if you find it useful! regards Mani
Guest guest
Dear listmembers, Here`s the data of Christine Jorgensen, transsexuell, out of GJ programm. You will see the wandering between two "worlds". I would suppose you to take also the outer planets and prenatal eclipses into account. Neptune seems to play an important role, having been stationary at time of conception. 30. may 1926 13:45PM zone 5 New York 73W57 40N45 Let me cite out of "The Stars and your Future", by MC Jain for her or his Ascendant 29.09°LEO ( Houck) . 30°Leo -Ruler moon: DEGREE OF VOYAGING Symbol: A ship`s steward carrying a bowl of enchanting white lilies. Denotes a changable person loving to journey about. He gains much benefit from ships, shipping and means of transit and the public. While on a journey he meets his greatest happiness. He is generally fortunate with his friends and in all affairs of his life... In case of different ayanamsa or birthtime you will perhaps also like to know the following degree: 1°VIRGO-Ruler moon: DEGREE OF REPAYING Symbol: A travelling pilgrim learning on his staff, which he holds in his left hand, addressing a small band of men and women. Denotes one whose early life is threatened by the elements and who will be compelled to endure sufferings, hardships and trials as atonement for remote past acts. If his destiny is to live, his destiny is to overcome; and he will be a wise instructor and guide to his fellowmen.... Here is also the degree of neptune, cancer 29.27° 30° -ruler mercury DEGREE OF CONTINUANCE Symbol: A winged wheel flying across in green field. Denotes one of character and force and skill who by the hand of destiny, will rise to a position in this world where he is fitted to play a decided part. He has a keen imagination and constructive ability and gains from change and movement. Please read also the degrees of the other planets,if you have this book and you will be impressed. Guest guest
Namaste Ilona, Thanks for the interesting info. For transsexual/homo or bisexual personality, Budh plays an important role in case of male charts, while shani in case of females. Guest guest
Hello Zoran, Could you be more specific. IMHO neither gender or race can be determined from Rasi...... Guest guest
Could you also elaborate a bit more on this Zoran...particularly in reference to Buddha. Guest guest
Hello Wendy, budha is a female eunuh, it is boyish graha, and when associated with 7th house of rashi/navamsa or significant points infleuncing personality, it may signify homosexuality. One should also check Arudha of 7th house. Shani is male eunuh, and in case of females, it gives homosexual tendencies when associated with the above mentioned. Retrograde grahas assocated with 7th house also tend to give homosexuality. We may investigate on practical examples... Guest guest
Namaste Zoran. You might wanto add that this is esteemed through the calculation of the Jamna Vighati Graha, which can be used to rectify the chart within 24 seconds, based on the sex of the person. The Jamna Vighati Graha is to be observed in Navamsa. This calculation is closely associated with the Nadiamsa rectifying technique. Guest guest
Exactly so Visti, Janma Vighati Lord would give the lord of birth, determine the sex and the main life course, due to navamsa signifying dharma which we carry from previous birth. Guest guest
This is as I thought...a birth time accurate within 20 seconds??...even an enlightened sage would find it difficult to do that with his own horoscope, not to mention a stranger's...and if the person is not a strange, i.e. the facts of life have become intimately known in order to attempt a rectification, then the astrologer already knows the gender, and would automatically be biased towards the (so-called) correct Jamna Vighati Graha. I think it's important to stress the fact that statements based upon a 20 second accuracy in birth time cannot be employed as solid jyotish practice...don't you agree? Guest guest
I agree Budha is a eunuch, and that it is adolescent...but boyish?...can you point me to the scriptural reference. Scripture does state that strong Budha can indicate disinterest (coldness) in regards to sexual activity (celibacy). So along those lines, if Budha were to have a say at all, he would need to be severely afflicted I'm sure. Guest guest
Dear Zoran, IMHO the 7th house shows spouse (marriage partner) as it also shows business partners etc. I think if we're discerning "sexual activity" we should look more to the 12th...don't you agree? Guest guest
Dear Wendy, There are many references in classical texts, about 7th house relating to sexual desires/partners. 12th house indicates bed pleasures, and it may be connected to sexual activity. Thus papas there may turn the person ascetic or deny, sexual pleasures/activities, marriage and progeny at all. There is a profound sense of 12th house pada becoming upapada or formal marriage lagna. Sexual partners are seen from Darapada/Arudha of 7th house, and 7th house, while sexual activities as well as physical felicity between the partners may be seen under 12th house which among other things relate to vices/sins.Thus the 12th house lord determining upapada will decide whether such sexual activities would lead to marriage/progeny or its denial.7th house indicates partners(those who are in some commitment to a person) and sexual drive. Business partners are seen from the 7th house and its pada in Dashamsa chart.
