Hi everybody,

 

Chris, no tulip petals, rest assured. Just plain astrology. And just a

little bit of western astrology. As you know I only studied jyotish for abt

a year. That is why I am quite sure that no one will benefit from my

'technical' contribution. In case my prediction is right (and

humility/reality tells me not to expect that) I will gladly submit my

'homework'.

Is Astrology a mechanical process of Planets?

 

Obviously not.

 

While judging a horoscope the most valuable tool with an astrologer have is ,

the Ruling planets.

 

What are these ruling planets?

 

Ruling planets are the lord of sign and constellation of Moon , ascendant and

day lord at the time and place of the astrologer, when an urge come to his mind

to check an incident in the natal or horary chart.

 

Suppose i want to check the validity of birth time of a given nativity. The

ruling planets at the moment when i will take up the case must match with the

concerned nativity. No need of past happenings or any information from the

consultant , only your integrity and a strong urge to help the consultant will

do and God will be helping you.

 

Suppose i want to find out the time of marriage of a native , by chance i will

take up the case , the ruling planets of which time will indicate and will match

the required vishmotary dasa and sub periods of the consultants marriage.

 

BURNING QUESTION BEFORE ME WAS THAT IF IT IS POSSIBLE TO FOLLOW THE SAME RULE

FOR QUZ PURPOSE ONLY.

 

Inner answer to this quarry was no.

 

Because nature help us to find the truth to help others. When we calculate and

predict , it involves our positive emotions, the urge to take up the case and

calculate will come into mind for that to whom you are emotionally attached ,

you have sympathy for that , or you want to help an unknown person because you

think that he deserve your help or when you have been paid for that.

 

When the payment is involved you know the genuine nature of the case and

emotions are involved by its self. Nature will help in all the three cases and

ruling planets will tally.

 

But if you think that you have been taken for a ride , nature will not help ,

nothing will help. Leave that case , or you will feel embracement .

 

What about the quiz , we miss this important aspect of ruling planets in it.

That might be the reasons that scripture bar from betting on the basis of

astrology.

 

While answering the quiz , you will not be helped by the nature because it

involves ego part of the astrologer. When you try to answer an consultant and

confirm the past events , you want to find out and check the effects of various

doubtful stars ,whereas in the quiz there is nothing like that , so it is

mechanical astrology.

 

But any how mechanical astrology is a main part of the astrology and good for

learning purpose , though i admit that true learning will involve the live

consultation involving the real problems on the basis of real and emotional

issues. The analysis given by various members only will help to the various

learning persons even if the answer does not prove to be correct.

 

Analyzing the chart and posting that analysis is a learning experience , though

i did not do this with quiz 4 but i appreciates the posts of Purshotam and Chris

on this account.

 

Below is my analysis of quiz 3 and quiz 4.

 

Quiz 3

 

Sun and Moon causes an individual to get the fruits of the results attributed

to various combinations in a chart.

 

Vishmotary dasa matching with them and rising ascendant at the time of event

must relate with the incident and this is the only test of Ayanasha and

correctness of the chart. All must match like a chain or some thing is wrong

with ayanasha or the birth time.

 

On the enquired day of incident ,

Sun was in Mercury star sun constellation,

Moon was in Venus sign Rahu constellation,

 

Day was Tuesday.

 

Vishmotary Mahadasa was of Sun and antardasa was of Mars

Partayantardasa was of Mercury,

Day lord was mars.

Time of event unknown that may relate to Gemini or Aquarius rising.

 

Sun in his own star relates to 7th( it is less by 3 degrees from 8th cusp) and

11th house matters (11th is badhkka and gains too)

7th is husband and markesh too.

 

Mars relates to moon constellation , 10th in relation to 8th and 2nd,

So it is not addition in family , childbirth ruled out.

 

Mercury also represents 7th house matters resulting in 6th , could be demise of

husband.

Rahu represents Saturn due to his occupation of Saturn sign and Saturn is badhka

for 7th house.

 

So it is a matter governing 7th house which broke the relation and set a ground

for change( Jupiter Venus exchange) is a death like experience.
