Rao. According to this system, male and female births are possible only at

certain times, depending on the combination of time after sunrise, day of week

and moon´s nakshatra. Actually the author uses it to rectify TOBs by gender, but

you can check gender if TOB is very certain. This is theory: in practice I have

not found the tables reliable, despite the number of examples given. But then,

some factor is perhaps missing. You can try ii out.

I have just discovered the big GOOF in the book mentioned above. the author has

chosen a complicated method of tabulating the data and has apparently

misundersttod the tables. In his examples and instructions he has confused minus

with plus and totally negated the philosophy he expounds in the introduction!

 

By his method weird coorections to TOBs had to be made sometimes, even for

hospital recorded times. After discovering the mistake, I find that the

corrections are acceptable, if indeed true. In the book the author tells one how

to adjust the tentative TOB before referring to the tables: if sunrise on the

day was before 6:00 am, he tells you to ADD the time difference to recorded

time; if sunrise is later than 6:00am, he tells you to SUBTRACT the difference

from the recorded time. IT SHOULD BE THE OTHER WAY! Can´t imagine how he could

have erred in such a manner - it is not a printing mistake, for all his examples

are calculated with this error built in!

 

If anyone is interested, I´ll kill myself and re-write the tables for your

education, edification, amusement or earnest research!!! but will not kill

myself if no one wants the sacrifice.
