Guest guest
can you post your birthdata. Guest guest
You're on the right track: Sanjay: Jupiter in Lagna in Mercury Nakshatra. Wendy: Jupiter aspecting Lagna (7th) in Mercury Nakshatra. Sanjay: Mercury (9th lord's dispositor) in 6th house of enemies. Wendy: Mercury (6th/9th lord) in 9th house. So basically both have Guru influencing ascendant in Nakshatra of Mercury who is strongly associated with 6th/9th houses...rivals, competitors, bitter enemies...religion, philosophy, guru...Oh! Well!! I shall try to avoid him as best I can and I request he loses the "Guru" mode when he communicates with me...he is most definitely not my Guru...... My birth data is so much in the public domain I hesitate to post it: Sep 4 1943 (16.20) Melbourne, Australia. Predestined? make no mistake about it! I don't deliberately want it this way. I don't enjoy such conflicts...but the fact is that we will never see eye to eye. Sanjay is forever wanting to "teach" me, and I am forever resenting inconsistencies in his teachings that I would take no notice of if they were coming from someone else. Guest guest
PS: I don't want to over focus on this, but I think there's a good jyotish lesson here. An important addition to this is the involvement of 10th house... Sanjay: Jupiter in Lagna owns 10th house of career. Wendy: Jupiter aspecting Lagna is in 10th from natal Moon. I also think this is a good lesson in destiny vs free will. I know I am devoted to the spiritual path and I'm sure sanjay is too...but still the karma plays out in spite of religious awareness...something to think about!...how much free will do we really have. Dear Wendy, At least on the list I don´t get the impression that he is trying to "teach" you. He is insisting on his views, but that does not mean he is imposing them on anyone. It is just that you haveopinions that cannot be reconciled with his: in such a stalemate one has to agree to disagree and leave it at that. love Mani

'..IF THEY WERE COMING FROM SOMEONE ELSE'... WHY ME MADAM? _______ Let's not discuss this any further Sanjay, look to the horoscopes for the answer...Rashi shows all! We are, first and foremost, astrologers. You, in particular, are a jyotish "Guru"...the answers you seek are in the horoscopes. So let's end this personal conflict here and now by recognising that we have opposing views. It wouldn't matter what opinion I offered to you now, you would counter it with an opposite opinion, I would respond, your disciples would enter the ring and so it would go on. Let's just leave it alone Sanjay. We are both strong believers...the problem is that we're at opposite ends. You may not always realise (I hope) how negatively I can interpret some of the things you say (see snippet of one of your posts below), and most certainly I am completely surprised at how negatively you interpret something I've said that was never intended to offend. >>>Just one last question, I still do not know what is your religion, but if it is Buddhism, be it Hinayana or Mahayana; Either way, if your letter on Jesus did cause hurt to others, then your Karma is not in the true Buddhist tradition (based on what little I understand about the Great Tathagata and Ahimsa). There is no offence meant here. Just airing and sharing views so that we can all benefit from this interaction.<<< Let's be perfectly honest Sanjay...OF COURSE IT WAS MEANT TO BE OFFENSIVE!! You KNEW it would be to me. But by saying "There is no offence meant here" you hoped to convey your good intentions to others. this is just one of the many things I see as inconsistent in your teachings...you attempt to portray an image of religious understanding, yet you delight in these subtle (religious) recriminations against me. It's not a "one off" Sanjay, you do it all the time and have done all these years. Every astrological post (of yours) is loaded with your (perceived) religious superiority. These subtle innuendoes (such as in the above snippet) permeate all the communications between us. So again I say Sanjay, let's just leave it alone. Accept the fact that I'm not a believer ( in your tradition) and stop trying to teach (convert) me to your way of thinking. When you came back on the list I was apprehensive of just such a confrontation as this and decided to just stay out of your way, but a post to Mani regarding free will quickly brought a confrontational response from you...and here we are again! Let's stop it Sanjay, please. We're never going to resolve our differences. Wendy

WHY ME MADAM? (snip) Profound regards Sanjay Rath<< This (once again) is a prime example of the inconsistencies and hypocrisy I find so offensive. You address me (angrily) as MADAM but then sign off with "profound regards"...?? Such (obvious) hypocrisy seems to be a "trade mark" of certain groups. They usually begin their post with "Namaste"...such a profound word...but then they proceed to tear people apart with subtle (and not so subtle) accusations. Some such members even resort to personal attacks on people's intelligence. Why can't we just be sincere about our intentions...is that too much to ask? Everyone cloaks their intentions in false niceties...perhaps if we were more honest with our intentions there would be less misunderstanding. Personally AND Globally...we're all so false!! Guest guest
Om Gurave Namah -------------------------- Dear Madam, If you don't know the meaning of a word, look up the dictionary. Ma'am is a word that is used when you show respect to a lady and is very consistent with 'profound regards'. You assume too much especially the fact that I am angry after all the filth you have thrown. No ma'am. i am not angry. i am hurt. there is a difference between the two and this difference arises due to my regular meditation with the simple mantra OM NAMO BHAGAVATE VASUDEVAYA. Try to see that everybody has not been schooled in the same environment and linguistic differences even in the use and feelings conveyed by words of the english language will differ. I will not ask you to overlook this. Not any more for fear of being branded as one who is always trying to teach. Kindly point out the 'inconsistencies in my understanding of astrology' so that I can correct myself. At the risk of being "booted off" and since you REFUSE to let it go....... Although you puff yourself up with (so called) advanced techniques...which, by the way (having read the classics, like you), we're all familiar with...I'm yet to see you display any skill in interpreting Rashi... This is something easily overlooked in anyone else, but in someone who claims to be the greatest jyotish Guru, who has written several books and has a large following of jyotish disciples (who attack anyone who disagrees with you), I find it appalling! You've made ludicrous statements in the past like "Lagna does NOT show personal characteristics, constitution etc; but we must look to Navamsha for this" or "Only the divisionals can be relied upon for delineation because of the question of twins" You fail to interpret Rashi because you're so busy looking at other things you CAN'T SEE IT!! Now that I've responded to your FREQUENT REQUESTS to point out your inconsistencies can we please just leave it alone and move on... Wendy PS: SJVC disciples do NOT need to respond! Your Guru asked a question and I gave him my answer. Let this be an end to it now.
