Well, you learn something every day! I thought that reprisals would not take place until the Venus dasa was over, but I was wrong. If you look at the compressed Vimsottari dasa for the lunar New year chart of USA, it was Venus/Mercury/Saturn today (10/7/01). Mercury rules the 9th and 12th (foreign government), and is aspected by all of Mars, Saturn, and Rahu. Arudhas of the 12th and 6th (Vyaya pada and Shashta pada respectively), also aspect Mercury. Saturn, being in Mrtyu bhaga, and very much in the face of the 6th lord (enemies), made his statement. For Natabara: This is an example of how the special naksatras in Sarvatobhadra chakra work. Transit Mars is still in the Vainasika naksatra (destruction), Purvashadha. As was said earlier, malefics in that naksatra can wreak havoc.
