Guest guest
I support Das' decision to remove Wendy and Mani. I like a good debate however, I don't support personal attacks on the members of the list, which Wendy has frequently done with Robert Koch, Sanjay Rath and others. For me, it interfered with my learning process as well as waste my time reading emails attacking others. Additionally it added a negativity which I didn't like and when Wendy had joined the list, the GJ List went to the bottom of my list of email items to read. Yes, I can just delete messages that I don't want, however, I still have to read it in order to see what the email is about and the negativity affects my psyche. Regarding Mani, I felt that often his emails were more political than astrological in nature and I really want to learn jyotish. I'm sure there are email groups where those kinds of discussions are more appopriate. Although I'm lurker, I've appreciated the posts by other members. As a beginner, I feel that I'm not at a point where I can participate in a discussion knowledgably and have learned a great deal from the discussions on this list. And I appreciate the personal time and effort that Das has put into this list and thank him for starting this list to begin with. Thank you very much.
