Hi Nicholas

<<Dear NatabaraIn the Americas or Australia there may be a need to rectfy charts

because ofuncertain birth details but personally I am hesitant because this is

thetime I am destined to receive.>>

I am sure that if i go to Australia or America i still have to rectify birth

times if i find that the reading does not fit.

Sometimes, when i am doing a reading, my intuition tells me that the client is

not sure of his time of birth. In those cases either i do the reading only for

the moon sign or i just stop doing the reading because it is a waste of time.

Experience will tell you that.

The more accurate the time of birth, the more accurate the predictions. The

birth time gives the lagna, the head of the chart, without the head it is more

difficult to see the trends. The moon moves about 12° in 24 hours and

therefore, the moon sign can be more relailable in some cases.

Mind, i have come across with some people that do not even know their date of

birth, never mind their birth time. Their date of birth in their passport is

false.

<<However the most valid technique to overcomethis is to not only examine the

chart you receive but the prasna chart ofthe queriant .>>

Nicholas, i think that here you are changing from natal to prasna charts. You

can not mix that cos you will not get the exact birth time. Prasna is for the

present time and not for the birth time. If you are lucky, you may hit the

spot but the probabilities of doing that are very high.

<<This helps to relieve the karmic shortfall where a person isnot sure of their

birth time.>>

Here i understand that there is a karmic shortfall if the native is not sure of

their birth time? What do you mean with this, that there is a bad karma?

<<To me this scoreboard approach is completlybizarre and over the top .>>

Why Chris?<<i Srila Prabhupada's case I imagine his family knew the importance

ofaccurate birth time>>

You are just imagining things Nicholas. Srila Prabhupada's family were not

astrologers to calculate his chart, they only gave a time of birth and the

expert vedic astrologer did his job. But we are not sure if he did the

calculations for 4pm.

<< and therefore there is no comparison with persons whocome for readings at a

new age fair.>>

I go as well to people's houses travelling by public transport with a one day

ticket within a 25 miles radius, or they come to see me, or i see them in

fairs, but the equation is the same, they are given a birth time in hospital or

they forget about it. Many times a nurse forgets to take the birth time ( i was

there in 2 occasions and told the nurse the correct birth time) because of her

demanding job and then, they simple especulate about which time to write down.

"Lets put 10 or 15 minutes ago", they say. They are nurses not astrologers

Nicholas. Go to see a birth Nicholas and you will see what i mean.

<< maintain there should be goodrationale for changing the Lagna.>>

I agree with rationale and therefore i am doing the calculations. 4pm

definitely does not fit the biography and i think that some astrologers

changing the lagna to sagittarius are giving a good rationale about it, other

are following their rationale because they do not have the time to do so, but

they know that they are proffesionals about it.

Prabhupada said that a religion without science is just fanaticism and a science

without religion is just a mental concogtion.

To follow a chart for 4pm on the basis of religion alone, does not help, we have

to verify when the reading does not correspond with the native's bio.

<<wever your story is a good example ofhow we should allow be willing to intuit

how destiny is unfolding .

Intuition is very important Nicholas. This materialistic society has tolds us

since childhood to see only the external world, the world of appearances.

Rarely they tell us how to develop our intuition and see the inner world, the

intentions, the unseen.

Best wishes

natabara
