This is called the Brghu bindu, and is a very significant point regarding events, either very positive, or very negative. It is very often found, that malefics transit on, or aspecting the exact point of the BB, will bring specific and unavoidable events into a person's life, all based upon the nature of the sign/house where the bindu is placed, as well as natal aspects or conjunctions to that point. Watch especially for the retrograde period of malefics, who make aspects or conjunctions to that point. Benefics can bring very favorable, al beit significantly auspicious events; malefics the opposite. You can give it an orb of up to 2 degrees on either side of the point, yet the exact hit brings home the goods fully. Also, the trines to that point, the opposition to it, the Navamsa of the point, as well as Navamsas of the trines, should be noted as well. My BB at 27 Cancer has been getting hit hard by transit Mars this last week, and the results have been striking. Anyway, that's my tid-bit for the day. Guest guest Posted October 19, 2001 Report Share Posted October 19, 2001 Warm greetings, I'm always interested in special "Points" ideas, so: (Bhrigu Bindu point, midpoint tween Rahu and Moon, on shorter side, mine is then 22 Scorpio I believe) I checked some, not all, of the major events in my life. I found that Saturn squared this Bhrigu Bindu point when I joined the Krishna society, and Rahu was conjunct it when Jyotish entered my life. There were some 2 degree off aspects at other key points. Later I will look into this more. The "Yogi Point" has not turned up anything for me over the years of looking into it. Yes, in your case, natal Saturn participates in the Dharma-karmadhipati yoga with Jupiter in your 9th house. Thus, Saturn's aspects/conjunctions to the Brighu-bindu are certainly significant so far as Jyotish and spiritual unfolding are concerned. As with all transits, the natal disposition of planets gives clues as to how the effects of Gochara will play out. Brighu bindu is especially a potent point for the occurrence of major events.
