Guest guest
=========================== A food fight between laughing friends is the only true Holy War. =========================== ---- Humility is the Jewel of the Brahmins ---- Jai Sri Radhe Jai Sri Krishna Praises to the Supreme Beautiful Divine, our destination of choice Praises to the Earth Plane and Jyotish, our school and present reality I received one private letter and saw two posts from Sanjay Rath, and I am impressed with his responses. I want to say "praises to the Vaisnava", which is often how I sign personal letters to Vaisnavas, as I've seen it done for many decades amongs some members of my Gurudevs temple network from the old days in India. A Vaisnava is not a sectarian thing. It refers to Vishnu who is the Supreme in the Vedas, and the Vedas are Supreme amongst scriptures, so one who is able to worship Vishnu humbly, is actually simply a mature soul, and when acting that way, is a torchlight for all to learn from. Dialogue and Love ------------------ Sanjay said in one part: "The solution is not in breaking dialogue, but in making dialogue. When the doubts clear, love shall prevail." I immediately thought: "Hare Krishna!" Yes, when we stop talking to God, then doubts pile up and things break down in our lives. If we talk to God, then doubts start to clear and love prevails. So chant Hare Krishna all the time. And because this works with God, it works with all small souls. No Bans ------- I removed the bans on 3 people who I had previously removed. If they rejoin the list, they will find they are able to. But I will ban again at my own whim instantly. This is my new general warning. I am the judge, and I shall wield that power. I am the ONLY Kshatriya needed on this list. VERY watchful am I ------------------ I have a very tuned sense of written sarcasm and offensive tone. I don't want any offensive tone on this list anymore. The real reason for this is: 1. It's my list 2. I'm sick of fighting anywhere around me 3. At least here there will be NONE 4. Here there will be spirituality 5. There is no fighting in the spiritual world So I am the one Kshatriya needed here. I am ready and willing to do my duty and I'm invincible because: 1. I get all the mails 2. I read all the mails 3. I have a speed reading offense finding capability 4. I can remove and ban anyone easily, only I can 5. I have no need for restraint when such actions are needed Holy War -------- If we are to commence battles of words, then if we make it Holy, that means there will be only Happiness coming from the battle. ONLY HAPPINESS. So if anything causes pain, it must not be Holy. This is a difficult task, as we are most of us used to being not holy, me included, so that's why we need to chant Hare Krishna or do our like practices to be Holy in ourselves, so that we can be Holy to others. Only if we love ourselves, can we love others. If we are harming ourselves, we will harm others. Look inside, and see if you are true to yourself. If when you are true to yourself, you really still want to harm others, then this list is not for you. This is a non-violent list all the way. Jai Sri Shanti Devi. Oh, These Horrible Days ------------------------ Yes, these are hard times on Earth. I feel it, everyone feels it. There is heavy bombing happening, and religions and belief systems are fighting. Americans, normally a happy bunch overall, are really in stress because somebody is mailing disease around the country, plus the economical (artha) systems are all shaken and damaged. Our war machine is on high alert and very active. We're spending money as a government like crazy again, and unemployment is up, profits in business down, everything is messed up from normal. And of course, if we're like this, then the whole world feels it ultimately, plus they have their own problems. What Should We Do, Where Should We Run for Help -------------- Well, I was in great pain for a long time. I am not now. But I could be easily. I am forcing myself to chant Hare Krishna often, and I control my mind carefully. I stay engaged in positive actions constantly, whether it's excercising, chanting, reading, working, or resting, or cooking. I do not allow myself to worry, lament, ponder, cry, and definitely no bad intakes of any kind- no negativity either started or confirmed or responded to. I am being a devotee of Krishna, often by forcing my unwilling mind and senses with the force of will. I have to do it morning to night. There is no break from reality. If you want positive reality, it's best done full time and it comes ultimately only from you within yourself. It's your choice. Of course, this was destined to happen to me now, but also, we feel and perceive our destiny as if our own simultaneously perfectly, so it's both. I have finally arrived at the point where I simply will not allow myself to suffer like I was, in so much remorse and pain and lamentation. I share this to encourage those who are suffering. This is powerful stuff. It's essentially Krishna Bhakti Sadhana, or the practices of devotion to Krishna, the Supreme. I am sharing it, which is "Sadhu Sanga" or Saintly Association (not that I am a Saint, no, but sharing these things is Sadhu Sanga because the matters are so pure). I share this because simply hearing this, and placing it on the list, purifies the air space. Hare Krishna. Saintliness benedict all, and harms none. We CAN control our speaking, to be benevolent and helpful to one and all. We all can. It's easiest if you are controlling yourself to be truly good to yourself, which is what spiritual life is firstly. If you are truly following God for yourself, you are doing your soul immense good. Then, you will more easily benedict everyone else. If you are attacking your own soul by remaining forever in ignorance, then you will surely also attack others, not even caring for yourself. To the degree we are one or the other, to that degree we either benedict or harm. These infallible rules apply to everything. Hari Om Shanti. May we all here be in divine consciousness when we post, as far as we are able, then with humility at our command, the balance which we lack will be excused by everyone. ---- Humility is the Jewel of the Brahmins ---- Das Goravani
