DOB: 15 Oct 1975 TOB: 1.52 A.M Place 17.26'N, 78.27'E Here're some points for your consideration: 1. Generally intelligent, but does not show any interest in 'general education. More interested in spiritual studies. He has done basic graduation in commerce and after that been in some mutts trying to study some spiritual texts (over the last 3 years). That too didn't work for long. 2. Heavy swings of mood and very ambivalent (Sat+Mars aspecting Moon). 3. Used to go to many religious places, without telling family in advance. 4. Father expired in Dec'98. 5. In the last 4 years, he has come in contact with a group of people, who claim to have dreams of 'good picture quality'. Apparently, they get spiritual dreams about some god, Acharya coming in their dreams and giving some indications. To me, such indications related to the 'ordinary' state can be true only to a very little extent. The Brahma sutras themselves say, 'na svapnaadivat' (this world is not like a dream etc). Coming back, I'd like to know what aspect in the horoscope makes a person 'dreamy'. I am concerned about his career. My earlier 'predictions' on when he would get a job itself have failed. Guest guest Posted October 28, 2001 Report Share Posted October 28, 2001 Dear Nomadeva I had a look at your brother's chart and made a few observations .While not at all claiming to be a first class jyotish you may find these interesting ..Cancer rules the Lagna so his life may be more mental in nature and the first Lord goes to the 7th which means that his life will revolve around others (whether real or dream) rather than himself .This may be one factor why he is not so concerned with career . A second point is the strong spiritual inclinations that Jupiter in it's own sign and aspecting 3 planets and the Lagna is likely to bring .For one who is spititually evolved advancing one's career may seem unimportant ..Furthermore the YogaKaraka and 10th Lord of dharma or work goes to the 12th house of spiritual institutions ,monasteries ,ashrams etc. So it's quite likely that the work he performs for spiritual institutions will distract him from the more practical areas of life . Adding to the scenario is Saturn the Lord of transformations in the house of self so your brother may be looking for something other than what he has been brought up in . Note that Rahu the planet of illusion in the 4th house of mind which adds to the difficulties of a kemadrum yoga Moon aspected by Saturn and Mars which I have already mentioned . The planetary period of Jupiter Saturn Mars supports all of the above . The Mercury Bhukti may give him more motivation but these spiritual issues might well return in Saturn Dasha if not before as these seem to permeate the chart . So he needs to be dealt with with understanding and never try to steamroll a Cancer lagna . If in his life he meets with more than his share of unhappiness do not lament or blame yourself or your parents ,there are issues he has to work through . It seems his spiritual inclinations need better direction and so it may be more productive to share his vision rather than enagaging in outright opposition .
