Guest guest
Dear Das and Listmembers, When I read the last part of your posting, Das, I got hungry! (it's just before lunchtime here in Virginia, too) You mention karma hitting us all--don't you feel that the horoscope is a tracing of tendencies that one can rise above, creating a new history for the soul-- if one gives self enough acceptance and inner passion to change one's destiny from the mundane to the sublime? Thanks for your charts on new GJ#--I'm looking forward to our next upgrade! Best wishes to all, Carol Hook
Guest guest
Each day, as shown in the picture for example, the planets come in touch with points in our natal chart. In my case today, Mars is dominating the top of list in terms of tight hits, aspects, conjunctions on various parts of my chart. This window is from an as yet unreleased version of Goravani Jyotish. It shows the hits in our chart on any given day. Click the calendar, and it will list them, with the closest orbs at the top of the list, which goes down to show much more by the way. You can sort it by any column, but ascending sort by orb is the default. On this list are supposedly persons who "believe" in astrology. Actually, it would be more appropriate to say, "who know in astrology". So, we know it works. And it's patterned. We know the planets orbit on fixed patters. We know our Rasi charts are fixed, and that therefore, just as a speeding car will pass many signs on it's journey, so also the planets will surely cross the points in our natal charts in due course. Karma, it's what's for sure. Karma, it's what's coming. Karma, it has an appointment with you. What isn't for sure, and therefore, much more interesting, is all the good tastes you're going to get, have, feel and enjoy, as you liberate yourself from attachment to this WHEEL of SAMSARA. So whether or not you are "taking a hit today" from the inevitable wheel, remember, there's a juicy sweet roll of happiness waiting for your consciousness is the realm of eternal awareness, should you choose to accept it. -- Das Goravani Attachment: (image/gif) Hits.gif [not stored]
Guest guest
Om Namo Narayana! Dear Das, Thanks for posting snapshot of new feature of GJ3. Are you planning to include yogi and avayogi calculation, effects of Nakshatra on planets by its dispositor and its interpretation ( Like Andrew Lynn) etc. Thanks. Guest guest
Dear Carol, Though I love to whenever I can... ....I won't go into this free will, changing of destiny, spiritual effects on karma, and so on. We've discussed this here already also. It's hard for any of us to prove our positions, even with scripture, because of there being various types of sayings in the scriptures regarding these things. I have my own views, but I find that my views are not anything I or anyone else can "live by", which doesn't surprise me, because that which is absolutely true, cannot guide us while we are relatively occupied. ;-) I think what is important is for all of us to share with each other how to rise above our problems and challenges. We get the most out of life when we set aside thinking about destiny, and put our efforts towards improvement, especially firstly in our inner worlds, in our spiritual views, our mental world, and then after that in our external worlds. Leaving aside worrying about the outcome, we should strive for right thought, action and so on. For intellectual purposes, we can argue the degree of free will, but such things hardly impact our real lives. I have seen how the debate over free sometimes leaves good people in a lurch, unsure which way to go. They should go on in their good works, their right thoughts and actions. This is the conclusion of the Gita also. I hope I have spoken well. Thanks so much, with love, -- Das Goravani 2852 Willamette St # 353 Eugene OR USA 97405 or Fax: 541-343-0344 "Goravani Jyotish" Vedic/Hindu Astrology Software
