Guest guest
Hello Minu, I already have yogi and avayogi in my program. Those are easy. I also have the KP page, which includes tables that relate to the techniques Andrew Lynn was teaching on his list. I've only ever heard of those things from KP. (Krishnamurti Padhati) I would like to know more about those ideas. I believe they have been called "Deha" and "Jiva". In these I'm referring to things like, and I hope I don't sound confusing: 1. The lord of the nakshatra a planet is in 2. The dispositor of that lord 3. The planets in the nakshatra ruled by a planet, as main planets that will affect that planet. (This is KP significator type #1 or first rate). Anyone who can explain the techniques Andrew was talking about on his list just before he shut it off, please do. So as for including them, yes, these things are alrady in GJ. However, not interpretations for them. To run interpretations in a software program, there are two ways to do it, namely: 1. Through use of a lookup database of fixed readings for specific occurances in a chart. This is how it's usually done, including in the current GJ. 2. Dynamic readings creation. This is rarely done at this point. This means your program looks at things, and puts together a reading dynamically. This is harder because you're not just pulling static readings out of a database, but rather, you are putting sentences and paragraphs together dynamically. This brings so many issues into your programming that it's much harder. Those issues include language structure, concepts, perterbations of concepts by changing dynamics....etc. If anyone knows of a database somewhere, ie in book form, which is good for these things, then I'm perfectly willing to look into that option. I don't know of that myself. I have most of the KP books. They do not include such a thing. I too was impressed with Andrew. I have seen such flares temporarily, so some restraint I also have. KP does have it's ardent followers, who are adament about their great accuracy. You hear this mostly from India. There are some KP practitioners in the West. I have heard similarly strong reports from some about KP folks in the West. The KP system is as much despised by those who don't use it, as it is positively accepted by those who do use it. It's unfortunate that Prof. Krishnamurti himself spoke SO negatively towards traditional Jyotish. In so doing he started a kind of war. Let's not fight over these hot topics. Lets see if we can be better than that. However, remember that I'm now monitoring all messages, so if something is over my top, I may strike it out. Guest guest
Om Namo Narayana! Thanks Das, What about miscellaneous technique such as Bhrigu Bindu (described by Robert Koch, this could be useful in hit monitor), other Jaimini Dasha such as Narayana, ashtotarri dashas etc? Thanks. Minu Desai -------- Answer from Das: GJ3 will/does have other dashas beyond what v2 had. I'd rather not specify completely which ones. I agree that hits on any valid point are a good thing to include. I would like to know the source of this Bhrigu Bindu concept if Robert or anyone can provide that.
