Dear Gurus and Friends,

 

I have a few questions concerning the strength of planets:

 

1) Is it always auspicious for the lord of a dushthan to be weak?

 

2) Is the planet in a dushthan always weak, even if the dushthan is his own

house, and the planet is functionally neutral for the particular lagna? What

effects will such a planet have?

 

3) Does the weakness of a dispositor (for example in dushthan) affect the

strength of a planet to a large extent or a small extent? What if a yogakaraka

planet has such a weak dispositor?

 

4) Is the exchange of houses involving a dushthan desirable or not? Can such an

exchange change the qualities of fuctional malefics or benefics for a

particular lagna? What effect will be for Vrishabha lagna when the neutral

Venus (lord of 1st and 6th) is in the 7th house, and the benefic Mars (lord of

7th and 12th) is in the 6th?
