Guest guest
Dear Nicholas, This kind of information is very practical and helpful for me. Thanks for sharing. Planets near the rising degree have their significations highlighted. So for example with George Harrison's standard Libra chart the Moon is onthe ascending point .The Moon rules the 10th house for Librans and so thisemphasises the aspect of career in George's life and makes for an emotionalperson . This is one of the strong points for the standard birth time aVirgo Lagna would give a more intellectual/educational nature . Also, on Wendy's post regarding GH's isolated Moon. I've gone to my personal charts to look for any with an isolated Moon and found one. I know we have to look at the whole chart but find this consideration and classic rule regarding isolated Moons interesting. In GH chart, it is on his ascendent. Just for crystal clarification, in another chart would we consider the house where the Moon is located as signifying the impact of the aspect of the life felt as isolated as well as the house the Moon rules? More so than just the general emotional nature of the native although this is a consideration as well? Such as the chart I have access to here. Moon is located in the 3rd house. I don't think that the native feels a general sense of isolation but does so somewhat with relation to his brothers when growing up (and no younger siblings) and would this indicate that he felt he was not supported by others in gaining his desires - rather 'self-made'. Although 11th house is older siblings, is it not true that 3rd can indicate brothers generally as well? Wendy wrote: The argument that GH innate (shy, reclusive) nature is only seen with Virgo lagna fails when one considers the effect an isolated Moon has on the native's innate nature. There can be no doubt at all that he would certainly feel isolated and withdrawn from all the success and hype that surrounded him...particularly so as Moon is lord of 10th house. I'm sure he never felt comfortable with all the fame that surrounded him...rather he would have felt somewhat detached (isolated) from it all. Thanks for all these good posts. So when she is conjunct (within 5 deg.) with Mars and/or Saturn who are natural malefics then the Moon would become negatively affected without putting up much resistance. However, there are many other variables that must also be taken into consideration. For example, what if Moon is a functional malefic? What if Saturn and/or Mars were functional benefics? This would change the outcome considerably. Then there are the strengths that have to measured to see who has the most influence, and then there is the 'when' indicated by the dashas and transits. regards Arthur
