certain doubts

DEAR FRIENDS,

I have certain doubts which I wish to

clarify.

(1) there is a conflict of opinion among astrologers

as to whether rahu and ketu aspect the fifth and

ninth houses or not.some say that they have no

drishti(sight) and give effects only for the house

they are posited in.others say they do aspect.can

someone throw light on the subject?

(2) I read somewhere that a planet if debilitated but

retrograde gives the effect of exaltation and

an exalted planet if retrograde is to be treated

as debilitated.is this true? how exactly does

retrogression influence the effects given by a

planet?
