Guest guest
Hi List I just sent thise email to 5 astrologers and i will get more addresses later. ********* I have a very important question for astrologers. I am a member of a vedic astrology list and we just found by chance that there is a discrepancy among Time Tables regarding the Daylight Saving Time for 1968-1971 in England. I would like to find out the truth as you can see below. ********** <<Dear Natabara, here is what is given for England during that time: I sourced the ACS Atlas books. 2/18/1968, at 2:00, -1:00, 3/17/1968, at 2:00, -1:00, and -1:00 DST = -2 10/27/1968, at 2:00, -1:00, 10/31/1971, at 2:00, 0:00, back to normal. Best Regards,Ernst Wilhelmwww.vedic astrology.netKala Vedic Astrology Software & Kala Occult Publishers ***** Dear Ernest, the Time Changes in The World by Doris Chase Doane 1994 revised Edition. Mentions. DST observed in GB as 1967 3/19 -10/29 1968 2/18 -1971 10/31 1972 3/19 -1-/29. Those changes are always at 2am GMT. ******* I would like to get this important issue solved. The ACS Atlas books and the Doris Tables are different. Therefore astrologers doing charts for England for those years are likely to be doing mistakes. My questions to astrologers is: 1. Which Time Tables or computer programe do you use as a reference? 2. Do you have any contact to verify the mistake or the accuracy of time for those years? 3. If you have the wrong or correct source, can you send it to me? Neddles to say that we have to put things right as a matter of accuracy for astrologers. I appreciate your help and cooperation, please forward to any other astrologer and remember to keep me informed to my address. Thank you very much. Best wishes Natabara Das
