I think you have probably been mislead .Generally the chanting of the Hare Krsna Maha Mantra counteracts volumes of sins or brahmin curses from previous lives but it can not be used to counteract future sins . Guest guest Posted December 18, 2001 Report Share Posted December 18, 2001 jupiter is in gemini, in 9th sa in libra and sun/merc in aquarius i thought that this idea of a curse regardin a saturn/ jupiter aspect was wrong, however i also wanted to find out the principle factors behind a 'curse' in a chart as well.. as a western astrologer i wouldn't interpret the above aspects as being a curse..in fact far from it, so i did feel puzzled..i can't as yet consider myself to be competent in vedic astrology i thought i would ask about it..i was also told that this aspect is a ruling raja yoga..so two conflicting viewpoints..hence the confusion for myself.. thanks for your swift reply nicholas..enjoying your posts.hope you are well your servant stavavali Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Did the person who tell you that you were cursed by a brahmana try to sel you something if so my BS detector is ringing loudly . When one undertakes the process of surrendering to Krsna whatever karma comes is under Krsna's direction rather than just the material laws operating . So these sufferings are specifically directed at rectification . Two boys went to bed hungry one day . The first is a wealthy man's son who misbehaves and is punished by being sent to bed without dinner .The other is the orphan who is unsuccessful begging or scrounging that day .The situation may appear to be the same but it is not .
