Wendy - Chart Regarding Children

Hi Wendy,

 

I've just looked at the chart that you are considering for Arthur with respect

to children. Whether this is the accurate chart or not, I have a couple

questions regarding this particular chart, if you don't mind.

 

Please forgive my still beginner status here as I move around below:

 

I see the strong factors and delays with regard to restricting children with the

things you mentioned along with other indicators, and I'm wondering if all these

things are a complete indication of cancellation of having children. This Moon

is eclipsed and waning but in Taurus and giving full aspect onto Jupiter in the

8th. Would you say this appears to be a strong Moon in chart as AtmaKaraka and

with this Moon in Moon Lorded Nakshatra, Rohini? Would you consider this a

benefic Moon's aspect on the natural Karaka for children?

 

Also, taken from Chandra Lagna, that full 6th house is then the 5th house and

Jupiter in the 7th. An exalted Mercury 5th house but still complicated and a

lot going on with Sun, Rahu and Mars even though Mars is in house of a great

enemy. Saturn does has a pretty tight aspect with all in that house and on

Mercury.

 

In Saptamsha, 5th lord Venus is debilitated in the 4th house.

As far as timing goes native is 42 years now and just entering Saturn Mahadasa.

In what dasas would you have seen or could still see any indication of children?

 

Thanks very much Wendy. Also, how would you speak to the causes of the problems

or inability to have children from a physical standpoint? If this native were

young and realized the problems with having children would you have seen a way

to recommend remedies?

Dear Patrice,

In this chart Moon is neutral to Jupiter so is neither going to offer any great

help nor any great resistance. Moon's effect on Jupiter is luke-warm...neither

this nor that. Certainly Moon is exalted in Taurus but is way past it's degree

of exaltation, is waning and (as you Know) a natural Benefic owning a kendra is

slightly malefic in it's effect. This is particularly so in this chart as Moon

owns 12th from 5th (children). So I can't really see any great benefit coming

from this Moon.

 

The native is now in Saturn dasa. Saturn occupies 8th in Saptamsha whilst (as

you say) Venus (in 5th Rashi) is debilitated in this chart....the combination

of these things do not bode well for children.

 

We have to consider when the birth of children may (can) occur. It has to be

either in the period of a planet occupying the 5th, a period of 5th lord, a

period of Jupiter, or (to a lesser degree) in the period of a strong planet

aspecting any of the aforementioned. If these planets are not favourable (for

birth of children) then the native is denied this...this desire cannot come to

fruition.

 

Look at the preceding Jupiter period (as an example). One would expect this to

be the most favourable period for children.

We see that, although Jupiter is in 8th, he occupies the rising Saptamsha. This

certainly brings the desire for children to the forefront. But with Jupiter's

star lord Saturn in 8th Saptamsha whilst his dispositor (Mercury) is in the

12th, we see the great difficulty (obstacle) that this desire has met with.

Thank you for your very clear reply. I'm sitting here up too late but reading

Jyotish texts and your response and explanations to my questions are a delight

to me; thank you. Also for explaining how the Saptamsha shows the desire for

children brought to the forefront with Jupiter in the rising in that varga

chart.

the woman's chart. Her more likely period in Jupiter has now slipped away

without any result. And the overall combination does not bode well for
